Unproven lightweight? He already beat a top guy in Rivera before fighting Delahoya

I was comparing him to RuPaul, I don't see any similarities between Chavez and Hagler, could you please tell me them and explain how Chavez is better. Also can you explain how RuPauls technique is better than Haglers?

Where have I taken credit away from that win? By saying Vargas was better?

Of course he get's credit for the win. It's one of his best wins.

It's still against a Whitaker who was visibly well into decline. That's a fact.

              Still, a credible win.

I've not once said nor implied that he doesn't get credit for that win. All you've done is claim I've said things I haven't actually said multiple times.
Didn't see post #72, my bad. Will reply to it when I get back.

How is it a fact if he was still praised so highly and ranked? When Whitaker fought Trinidad, that's when he was truly well into decline. The ******* problems happened after DLH.

Yes, I praise Whitaker/Chavez more highly than Hearns(who I'm also a big fan of).

Like I said, having both those greats on your resume is better than Hearns, which is one. It's my opinion and you think otherwise.

Did DLH fight a super prime Whitaker/Chavez? Absolutely not! Hagler didn't even fight Hearns at his best weight either(at the current time of fight).

I think to avoid any confusion I'm just going to concentrate more time on your posts and ignore more of others so we can understand each other more.

As were many fights back then. Oscar was on the front cover of The Ring Magazine a Million times.

That wasn't a big fight, at all.

It's like saying Tyson-Tillman was a big fight.

I know, there are others but I just put the ones off the top of my head to debunk that myth.

It wasn't just RING either. It was a big fight and was even PPV if you can believe it.

                      62- 3 with 52 KOs
3 losses and avenged 2 of them.
The 3rd was a loss to Sugar Ray Leonard...and that loss is debatable.

                      Hoya 6 losses but arguably 8 - 10 losses....and dressed like a girl.
