He beat Vargas, Gatti and Ruelas among other B+ fighters and is better than every other fighter today, but really not an ATG.

Chavez Jr and Canelo are superstars, but it certainly doesnt mean theyre ATG with the way their careers are going. Andre Ward how ever is another story.
Just go back and watch, it's all up on youtube. Gatti lol.

Fair play. You're a solid poster.

Don't agree with OP but why are people conveniently forgetting that Oscar beat Tito?

Because losses only count against fighters from the 1990s and on.

If you have seen them both fight numerous times and you think Oscar is better then you have made your choice and have a right to your own opinion. Since they fought in different eras with no common opponents it's impossible to prove one was better than the other. I saw most of the fights of both men and I think Hagler was a much better fighter. Oscar lost his share of fights in his prime. Hagler never lost in his prime. Hagler ruled the middleweights for years. He defended his title about 4 times a year and only fought the best. Oscar was a champion in different weights but he could never hold on to a title very long. Oscar had a good chin but Hagler had a far better chin and was never knocked down in spite of fighting huge punchers often. Hagler had two great hands while Oscar had a great left jab and left hook but a very average right. Oscar had good stamina but Hagler's stamina was much better. Oscar was a very good fighter but Hagler was much better than Oscar in my opinion and probably the opinion of most other fans and experts.

Because Tito came to Oscar's territory and beat Oscar. If you don't like the decision then say so but don't rewrite history because Oscar didn't win that fight. He lost. When both men moved up to 154 Oscar wanted no part of Trinidad in a rematch. It's no secret Trinidad was weight drained for his fight with Oscar. He only stayed at welterweight so long because he wanted to fight Oscar.

How was Trinidad weight drained it was Oscar who missed the weight actually and had to come back.

The worst decisions in the 90s were Holyfield/Lewis, Delahoya/Trinidad and Chavez/Whitaker.

All Don King fighters. How does that not make you su****ious haha

                      I bet on Tito.

Had my money going the other way...

                      Until the cards were called.

Can we agree that DLH resume had a pretty remarkable list of fighters on it?

                      i'd hope so

                      Win them all?

                      No.

                      Nobody does.

The funny shit aside, DLH fought just about anybody you can name.

                      Big brass ones.
