Keep trying to fool yourself, you're not fooling me.Oooooh! In addition to being a jizz slurping nuthugger and full blown illiterate (or lazy) ****** who can't read in context he's an e-warrior internet commando too! What a surprise!
PS. Pissing me off? Oh no no no my little keyboard warrior! I'm sitting here laughing at you! Far from pissing me off you're providing me with endless amusement :hahahaha9:
It makes me laugh that you don't even know you're a hating dimwit.
Lol, at you trying to act like you're analytical. You can't hold my jock straps vapor b*tch boy.
Try admitting what you personally have against Vitali and we can adress the real issue here. I'm dead serious. I know you have a problem whether you admit it or not. C'mon, let us have it.Comment

Wait, so you're telling us you know more about The Rings rankings Than the guy who actually sat on their panel? GTFO with your BS!I have to respectfully disagree.
Vitali was the lineal champ, which is the Ring champion. It wasn't a debate, it was something that happened in real time. I lived it and witnessed it. I know it happened and there's no way to really dispute the fact that he was awarded, owned and wore the Ring belt to the ring to defend it against Danny Williams. Vitali, ranked #1 at the time won the belt fighting Sanders who at the time was ranked #3. By Ring rules a fighter can be awarded the belt by facing the #1, 2 or 3 ranked fighter in special circumstances if it's vacant. By his logic, the lineal title ended when Gene Tunney retired with the belt 85 years ago.
I clearly posted the proof of this in this thread and he chose to ignore and still dispute it. This lets me know he's bias against Vitali, otherwise he would not have tried so hard to try and disprove me and the credited ESPN experts, lol.

not green, but also didn't have enough experience for fighting at this level. His head or upper body movement were none existent, he was trying to walk through Lewis' shots like he was terminator. Later in his career he improved his defense. I think he would win rematch against Lewis, who was getting older, but Wladimir and Lewis would beat him prime for prime 7 times out of 10.How was Vitali green? He'd been a pro for almost seven years and had 33 fights. Rahman had been a pro about the same amount of time, with only a couple more fights and some rough losses and he actually won. No one would have called him green.
I think some of the cases made against Vitali are way too harsh (while also thinking those arguing him as having an all time resume are fanciful).
Either way, there's some, um, entertaining cases made in this thread.Comment

The panel didn't exist until after Vit's run with their belt; in part, I'd argue, because of the credibility damage that choice did them. I explained in detail multiple instances where lineage and Ring titles were NOT the same and flaws in the way they did things.
There is no dispute that he won a Ring belt.
There is plenty of dispute about whether Ring was a consistent, valid designator of new lineages.
The leap from 4 to 1 off the Johnson win etc. There is a reason multiple historical references that care about this stuff (and not all do) don't recognize Vitali as having been THE champion.
It is a point of valid dispute and Ring was not the only arbiter to listen to. Ring was not some deep bench of experts. It was Nigel and a few other guys. They jumped the gun. Simple as that. CBZ picked up that ball for YEARS when Ring dropped it. They didn't recognize Vitali for a reason.
If someone wants to recognized Klit-Sanders as a engendering a brief lineal run, more power to them. I disagree and not because I don't 'like' Vitali. It's based on circumstances and the totality of the picture.
Rosendo Alvarez and Paulie Ayala shouldn't be recognized as former lineal champs for their Ring titles at 108 and 122 either. Tjose were highly disputable coronations.
Again, the ignore option is a great way to get the silly out.Comment

Did he really improve his defense or was he just fighting a lower caliber of offensive fighter? Sanders hit him fine before he gassed (and Vitali whooped him up). He was always hard to catch clean against guys the level of Arreola, Hoffman etc.not green, but also didn't have enough experience for fighting at this level. His head or upper body movement were none existent, he was trying to walk through Lewis' shots like he was terminator. Later in his career he improved his defense. I think he would win rematch against Lewis, who was getting older, but Wladimir and Lewis would beat him prime for prime 7 times out of 10.Comment

Or, and the more reasonable explanation, His comp wasn't nearly as good as Lewis making him look that much better.not green, but also didn't have enough experience for fighting at this level. His head or upper body movement were none existent, he was trying to walk through Lewis' shots like he was terminator. Later in his career he improved his defense. Vitali is like the 25 ft great white shark, you only see every 100 years. He's an ATG, a legend. One of the best of all time. A 6'7'' 250lb monster that could beat anything down.Comment
