You've got some history to read up on regarding the WBC.

    It's a very prestigious belt.

There are TWO Champions. Wlad and Vitali.

    A two headed dragon! DOMINATION!

Lmao!! I know the WBC wasn't the original lineal organization. The WBA was. I also know if you only live in one world there can be only one world champion. We forgive your ******ity on this matter though. We all know you're stuck between planet Klit and plant Earth causing you a mental break from reality.

The WBC is the most corrupt sanctioning organization on the planet. Part proof of that is that Vitali still has that belt when he hasn't even fought in a year. They pick and choose who they allow to hold their belts in horribly inconsistent fashion.

Yet it doesn't change the fact that Vitali owns that belt and that he's HW champion of the world. As long as Wlad doesn't have that belt and become undisputed, there will be TWO world champions recognized.

Based on what? Size? Skill? I think LL and the Klitschkos are heavily favored against all but

            Johnson,
            Wills,
            Dempsey,
            Louis,
            Liston

I would love to see them against Jess Willard and Luis Firpo. Those guys were big, could ****, and we'll find out if they ****** or not.

Baer, Schmelling, and Cleveland Williams would also be tough, interesting match-ups.

Special mention has to go to Gene Tunney. If he had to put on some weight he would have. He trimmed down to be fast enough to stay away from Dempsey.
The only heavyweights that would give Vitali a run for his money consistently would have been prime Ali, Lewis and Holmes. I'm on the fence with a prime Tyson and Bowe. Anyone else I just can't see it happening. Vitali is way too skilled, tough and rangy. There's no way smallish a pre-70's champion gives Vitali even minor problems. Not even Joe Louis.

Quarry was average with a decent left hook. He was just grossly overrated because he fought in that era.

Peter would have knocked that dude out cold.

Not only that, he lost when he did challenge for the title even with the Quarry tuneup. Now, I do rank Frazier as a better fighter than Peter was, but not by the huge gap these clowns like to think. At the time, Peter was one of the most feared heavyweights in the world and Vitali completely disarmed him and took him apart.

The truth of the matter is.. Vitali Klitschko gave an ATG Heavyweight Hell.. People can say that Lewis was aging and unmotivated... I agree.. but what people have to understand is that even that version of Lewis would have beaten a vast number of ATG'S in their primes.. Can we really bet on Prime Ken Norton vs 2003 Lewis? Can the likes of Marciano, Dempsey.. Johnson etc really beat 2003 Lewis? In all honestly I think even 03 Lewis beat them all at their absolute peak. Vitali took Lewis to the deep end and lost fairly due to cuts.. no complains there..

Vitali's resume is a bona fide Hall of Fame resume... I don't think people really understand just how much more difficult it is for super heavys in terms of athletic grace, boxing intelligence, and ring generalship as compared to the normal sized heavys.. There is a reason throughout history there's only been 4 elite super heavys (Bowe,Lewis,K2)....

Is Vitali an ATG Talent? Yes.
                  Is Vitali's resume poor? No
                  Is Vitali's resume ATG? No
Could Prime Vitali beat Prime Ali or Lewis? I highly doubt it.. but he would beat a good amount of the top 25 All Time Heavys..
Very good and well thought out post. I can easily say this even though I don't agree with it all. Well done.

Well now lets see, I happen to have Vitali's list of fights right here......Nope! No Wlad Klitschko there.

                    Try again Junior.
Oh no? Not even remotely close? Who is Lennox Lewis then?

Lennox would have knocked Frazier out like a one dimensional chump.

Vitali fought Lennox after he came back from his 4 year layoff? Dayum and I missed it!

Try reading posts in context of the discussion you ignorant douchebag: We were specifically comparing post-layoff fights.
