Let me rephrase it. If Tunney felt that he needed another 10-15 pounds of muscle to take on LL I think he could have put it on. Whether that would be enough is another question. I would give the advantage to LL and both Ks.

Tunney gives up 4-8 inches in reach which I think is more significant than the 40 pounds of so (240-200) that he would give up. If LL came in at 250+ his jab better be landing on Tunney or come round 8 he'll be in a world of hurt.
His career doesn't speak to that. He was at his best at Light Heavy. 10-15 more? Unlikely unless he's using 'modern methods' (i.e. copious PEDs).

Wlad might have developed into the more accomplished, polished fighter. But Vitali is a natural born fighter, very different style wise from Wlad. He's very awkward, and he's a black belt at what he does.

No. His career absolutely does not speak to that, but this is a fantasy match-up. We magically take him from the 1920s, bring him to this era, show him film, give him some months to train, all the money he needs, and tell him and his trainers to get ready for LL, VK and WK.

Lmao off at this! Beating a bunch of second rate fighters should qualify every fighter as a "black belt". Vits is a good fighter and a tough guy, but his comp is so weak its like Kevin Durant playing basketball against high schoolers.

Vitali Klitschko clearly has proven that he's the champion for the past 10 yrs along with his brother regardless of what fragmented belts have been dispersed through the years.. his brother has just fought more than him due to being healthy & not having political ambitions.
ali had a 3 year 6 month layoff and came back and destroyed quarry who is ten times better than sam peter. vitali had a 3 year 10 month layoff and beat a fat slob sitting duck for a paper belt. no one talks about it for vitali because peter sucks.

Peter would TKO Quarry, hows Quarry better?

what exactly makes peter better? because he weighs more? aka he was fatter, slower, less mobile, and had worse stamina than quarry. i go by resume not fantasy boxing. quarry's resume is much better than peter's which to me says he's a better fighter. we don't know who would win head to head but you automatically pick the fat out of shape fighter as opposed to the more proven fighter who fought and beat much better competition? highly illogical.

Peter would get annihilated by Quarry, totally out boxed. Its the same reason Foreman ducked Quarry.

Quarry is better in every single aspect except power.

Peter had the WBC belt last held by Lennox Lewis & then Vitali took it over... how is it a paper belt.. Peter was the last fighter to knock down Wladimir & beat Toney as well... he didn't amount to much once he went Klitschko but he was game up until then. Ali took a lesser layoff & didn't go straight for his old belt like Vitali.

Quarry didn't have a belt around his waist & that's where it ends. Ali saw Quarry as a tuneup to Frazier.. why didn't he go straight after Frazier & when he eventually did he couldn't get his old belt back so how is Ali's comeback more impressive up until Zairre?
