Again off on the timeline. He rejected the Pac rematch in favor of Trout, because there he could put his size to better use, and make more money presumably. I remember him giving those 2 excuses.

Luckily this big fight got made, else it was gonna go downhill and very fast
There were no need for 2 games in town if TR wuld've just made the DLH fight surely.

Which DLH fight? They let Pac fight the man himself, despite the odds. You mean the $3m offer?

No the DLH/Mayweather fight. The biggest fight in history. remember that one? That Arum missed out on and seems salty as hell about it

Cause he was asking for way more money than his status warranted. That's on page 1.

So after the Judah fight which happened in April 2006 Mayweather status miralously went up within 8 months? Facts showed he wasn't asking for too much. He fought De la Hoya in May 2007 which was not even 1 year and he asked Arum for that fight after the Judah fight so what changed in that time status-wise? Fact is nothing change and Arum got it wrong.

After leaving Arum he was able to market his career the way he wanted to and the way he thought Arum should have, he got paid lot of money to fight Baldomir thanks to Arum "$8m" offer to Mayweather to fight Margarito and then he was able to get the De la Hoya fight, a fight Arum said "There was no money in" and " you know when to fold them" etc Mayweather and his team basically outfox Arum just like De la Hoya did.
That seems toi be it really. 8 million for Margarito. but not 20 for DLH?

Based on previous PPV performances he'd be like a C side to DLH, and would still carry the Marg card.

Nothing changed, DLH Floyd massively overperformed. A promoter, or any business really, doesn't project based on super best case, record breaking scenarios.

DLH/Mayweather was the biggest fight in boxing. and it seemed Arum wanted no part of it.
