i think chavez jr. does much better in a rematch.
jr. was taking a huge beating but he never quit. he is more than deserving of a rematch.
i was rooting for sergio due to the fact that jr is a spoiled lazy brat, but by the end of the fight, i found myself rooting for jr.
jr. earned my respect begrudgingly.

However, some people have this mind-frame that the rematch will be an extension of round 12, it's gonna be an entirely new fight. He's gonna have to try to employ a better strategy on a 100% fresh Martinez right from the beginning. Chavez better realize that Sergio will make the proper adjustments so he can stop him this time. Jr cannot afford to balloon up in weight like he usually does, he needs to show some discipline and try to maintain his weight around 175. But I don't even think that will be enough cuz Sergio will just his weight against him.Last edited by kiaba360; 09-17-2012, 07:59 PM.
