Considering what that guy has done since, a draw with him proves Lara is pretty good, doesn't it?

Oh look, the age thing again.....

Gift wrap the guy a belt, then when he's expected to defend it against someone with a pulse, simply say "well, he's really young", and dismiss it.

But I'm sure you were willing to give him all the credit in the world for fighting the same Williams you were knocking Lara for fighting.

And it's not his fault that he's not fighting Cotto/Williams/Kirkalnd, but it IS his fault he's not telling his team to make the next best fight.

Rhodes is a domestic level fighter, but best opponent in his recent run since he won his belt.
Cintron.... are you kidding me? He looked like trash since he came back. Honestly, I really don't see how anybody can make a case for him.
Then he beats Vasquez in Vasquez's debut fight and later again at JMW.
You're just using his name to credit a good win
Now you have me in a spot here where I haven't seen the Vasquez fight, but have you?
I can't find anything online, so since you accredited him as a good win, I'll assume that you have.
Now let me ask you this, where did you see the fight?

Anyway, there's a reason why this fight isn't being talked about by Canelo's team. And it's simple.....Lara is too good to risk it.

              Because they're not being made.

                  1. Canelo won't get credit for fantasy wins.

                  2. Because he's not making them. And yes, it's up to him. The promoter works for him. Not the other way around. They have never even mentioned Lara's name and that fight could (and should) easily be made. Not Victor Ortiz who doesn't even have one fight at 154 and only three at 147.
