to be fair, outside of lara, who brings nothing to the table, canelo is calling out all the best fighters as well.

neither of these guys pick who they fight. canelo at least has some money. lara is by no means a rich man and he before the hernandez fight he had not fought in a year. that means he makes no money.

canelo wants to please goldenboy at this stage. if they play their cards right both he and goldenboy will be pulling in more than a few million every time he fights in a year or so. he's going to do whatever they ask.
down the line perhaps he'll have more of a say about the direction his career takes, but for now he's a 22 year old fighter who knows exacty who he works for. it's very clear that he's the kind of guy that's trying to please his promotors. clear as day. the guy gets it in that sense.

I've seen him fight once the p will fight I think he's a good fighter very solid good counter punching good speed decent pop very crafty in other words I like him but damn it seems that people are making him out to be this god in the 154 lb division. Who has he beaten other then pwill past prime serious lay off pwill that suggest he's that great everyone seems to think he should get a shot just because he's talented he has to earn it best thing he should do is stay busy keep getting more experience against who ever get some ko's and build his name cause as of now he has no name value just a tricky fighter that's hard to look good against with great boxing ability but that doesn't mean he'll win all these fights....just my two cents
