    He doesn't.

But what he has in common with them is he's an orthodox fighter who's left handed, who's not one handed, per se. But, he's very left hand dominant.

Pacquaio's style and use of angles is very effective against that. He's shown it, multiple times.

Of course, this doesn't mean he beats every fighter that fit's this description.

But I don't see how Oscar would deal with these problems Pacquaio brings in that regard.

Oscar had a close fight with a Prime Shane back in 2000, Shane got a gift decision in the rematch where most felt Oscar beat Shane, Oscar was ahead on the judges score cards when he fought BErnard, and lastley, some had oscar winning his fight with Floyd....

To answer, YES, Oscar was very underated, and one of the greats of this Era. He would have destroyed FLoyd 1 year earlier.

          What's with the consolation prizes?

He was stopped by Hopkins, lost clearly to Mayweather and lost clearly to Mosley in the first fight.

I know he got knocked out by Bernard, Im simply saying that Bernard was believed to be a superior boxer, but Oscar was ahead until he got served. Oscar was too small for Bernard. The first MOsely fight was close, it was not a super clear victory for Shane, and who knows, Shane couldve been juicing like was for the rematch. Yeah, FLoyd beat him, but Over the hill Oscar vs Prime FLoyd, and still FLOYD SR thought OScar won the fight. THANK YOU

The cards in the Hopkins and Mayweather fights were atrocious. You don't seriously believe Oscar was ahead, do you? Or was even ever in control, right?

Since when did crooked hometown scorecards become career accomplishments.

Oh Tyson got KTFOd by Buster Douglas but he was winning on the scorecards.

So? Who cares if he was up on the cards?

The first Mosley's fight was barely even close IMO. Wasn't a shut up by any means but he won the fight.

And, what does Floyd Sr's opinion have to do with anything? It's not like they had a great relationship at that point. He has a better one with Oscar at that point, than he did with Mayweather Jr.

Either way, it doesn't matter. The fact's are you're trying to give him credit for 3 fights he lost and didn't have an argument for winning.

Oscar is very underrated, and it's sad. The man fought everyone, and gave us some memorable battles. He carried boxing.
