Both Sweet Pea and Ike were arguable at best... Neither fighter was clearly robbed... It could be argued that Whitaker gave too much defense and not enough offense, and it could be argued that the last round of the Ike fight is what saved it for Oscar

No argument for the Sturm... But than again... It's Sturm, who cares? And its not like he took the belt and ran like Manny did at 154, he went from Sturm to the best middleweight in the world

On the forums, he's incredibly underrated. IRL, most people I talk to seem to have a pretty honest perspective on him. I have to think that a prime Oscar dominates the current generation. And, I'm not even a fan.

        ATG, but a bit overrated.

He fought everyone tho, I give him props for that but what was his signature victory? A coked up and fat Vargas? Over the hill Chavez and Sweat Pea (who he arguably didnt beat)? Ike Quartey?

and he would not beat Mayweather today in his 147 prime.

I don't think he is overrated or underrated. His resume is better than most champions today and even when he was over the hill he almost beat Mayweather.

Controversial? How? DLH won like 4 rounds the whole fight.

I agree i cant think of any other amateur standout in the last 15 years to crossover and be as consistent as DLH, unbeleivable skill, got shafted v Tito and Mosely rematch, he would of been a world champion in any era. I dont give a **** if people think Chavez was over the hill the way DLH moved through the gears that night he was close to boxing perfection

                He's very underrated.

Ask yourself who goes through his schedule without suffering several L's?

He had his fair share of robberies that ended in losses and wins.

In the end, it evened itself out anyway.

I thought he won the 2nd Mosley fight. I thought he beat Trinidad also.

I thought he lost to Quartey, whitaker and Sturm.

Like I said, it evened itself out anyway.

Post-Oscar era? No one. Mayweather wouldn't get by Pea or that version of Mosley, maybe even not Quartey, and Manny, Manny would get stopped by a prime Oscar easily, enough said.
