Agreed. Oscar has more robberies than gift decisions, I don't see how anyone could dispute that.

Thing is for a sad reason everyone remembers oscar's bad side and his the last few fights of his career. To me he's a legend

Well an old De La Hoya only lost by a SD, and do you recall how effective that jab was for that short period in the middle of the fight when Oscar inexplicably decided to use it and then stopped despite how effective it was? No way a young Oscar does that, and the jab would be stiffer and quicker.

Floyd would have a time, not sure who wins.

Oscar was an excellent fighter, he has one big problem he had the Tommy Hearns disease.

He blew it in big fights, someone blowing a bunch of their biggest fights is a pretty big red mark against them.

Hard to call someone who blew it so much an underrated fighter, IMO.

Yeah I was a big Sweet Pea fan but I gave that fight to Oscar. Thought Pernell was past his peak anyway.

                    Sturm was an obvious robbery.

And of course a case can be made for losing the Whitkaer and Quartey fights. Both were close fights that could have gone either way.

                      He was.

That's not even up for debate.
