Oscar Sparks Pacquaio and Mayweather in his prime.

Anyone who dispute this clearly is doing so for other reasons, or just is not verse long enough in boxing to be able to clearly see.

A little overrated as a fighter. Underrated as a business man. He beat alot of beatable fighters. Lost or received questionable calls against the true superstars. If he'd beat Trinidad convincingly he would get all the props today. Vice versa if Trinidad won convincingly. As a business man he made boxing what is today. After the dog days of Don King he single-handedly saved boxing imo. Mayweather and Pacquiao took it to the next level but the common denominator is Oscar.

He clearly won 8 of 12 against Tito, how is that not convincing?

He is underrated on this forum at least. Pernell is regarded as a god here. Chavez is well respected. DLH is right there with those guys. The best of a really solid welterweight era.

good boxer, great chin, great jab, golden hook, fought EVERYBODY.

i give him props... i think alot of people shít on him due to prettyboy status, cross-dressing, etc...

he couldve fought bums his whole career and still wouldve been a star. he carried boxing.

                      no hate from me.
