Froch deserves to be in Braveheart II... He's going to try to fight whoever, wherever and whenever. I commend that. I'm just more disappointed in Bute for not seeking the better opponent. Who, in my opinion, is Cloud at the moment.

In my opinion, a victory over Cloud would hold more weight than Froch.

You're right, let's give a title shot to someone that's not deserving as long as he's the next available opponent. Let's forget the reason that he's the next available opponent because the others before him killed each other in the process of determining who's the best.

Again it's not who the next available guy is...Is who the best available guy. And, And, Bute is not only the best available but is the best SMW not named Ward.

So if none of this guys are deserving what should Ward do? Sit out? Not fight? He only fights twice a year, should he more inactive than that?

You're asking an elite P4P level fighter to either sit out or fight lesser competition. This is what I'm getting from your post. Correct if I'm wrong though.

I have no problem with Ward fighting a gimme and/or one of the Dirrell Brothers next year. While building up his fan base. And, Bute in the mean time faces the likes of Froch or Cloud if it makes you happen. As long as the fight happens at the end of 2012. Ward-Bute is the fight that needs to be made at 168 to remove any doubt that anyone may have over the fighters.

168 is deep enough that no one looking to solidify their status there should need to move up to light heavy to find opponents.
