Pretty much. There is even a guy posting in this thread knocking the potential Froch vs Bute clash. The hate for Bute is strong at NSB.

I've given valid reason why though.

How am I hating on Bute when I think a Cloud win for Bute will be > than a Froch win?

I think it's a solid non biased opinion. What's the problem with Cloud; him and Bute were already in talks?

I really don't agree with the Bute vs Froch fight taking place. Does that mean that I'm scared my guy Froch will lose?

FYI, I like Froch, but he's not my guy.

You probably just don't like Bute in general. I'm not a huge fan of either Ward or Bute. I just feel that there's no rational reason why they shouldn't fight.

What I didn't understand was why they only gave Andre Ward one day to decide if he's going to fight him or not, then signed to fight two fights with Carl Froch immediately. Looks like a move Bob Arum would do.

Then I read a thread posted by BS, which showed Matchroom or whoever it is that promotes Bute, admitted that they just don't have the money to outbid what Kessler's people, Saurland, are offering to Ward, which is supposedly around $10million dollars.

That Sauerland offer was even before the Froch/Ward fight took place, maybe even so far as a week before the fight happened. I have read between 10 and 11 million Sauerland is willing to offer after Stigletz sells Kessler his useless paper title. Looks like they are backing off now though now that Kess dominated Ward pretty nicely.

I don't know what jro said but I know that Glen Johnson, Sakio Bika, and Librado Andrade are much much tougher than any opponent on Chavez Jr's padded record.

And even the lesser opponents like a past prime William Joppy, an outmatched Brian Magee, a guy who never wins a big fight in Edison Miranda, and a decent fighter in Alejandro Berrio, I would say all of them are all better than any one on Chavez Jr's record.

But Bute's resume is not very good anyways. But when you have a guy who makes Lucian Bute's resume look great in comparison, then you know that guy has a really shitty resume. Cause Bute needs a lot of work done on that resume of his.

No, that's where people are wrong about Bute's record.

Bute has more "names" on his record, yes. But if you look at "when" Bute's fights took place against Miranda, Joppy, Mendy and Johnson it's not even close. Those 4 should be deleted from anyone making a solid claim that Bute beat the version of these guys that everyone knows.

Bute beat their names, but when the fight took place, they were nowhere near the fighter they were. Mendy was just KTFO the fight prior; what the heck?

Then when you look at Chavez, some of his wins are better than Bute's. I don't even like Chavez. But you're sitting up here talking about Bute's record as if it's some kind of shrine when comparing it to Chavez's. Which is wrong, they're not far a part.

I'm looking at Bute's last 3 fights while the SS was going on and people are saying Bute had "no one" else to fight but McGee, Mendy and Johnson.
