The mosley fight was also impressive - how many times has someone KD'd mosley, let alone have him run from you for 9 rounds.
Margarito was coming off a suspension, was weight drained coming off a Brutal beat down to Mosley and an unimpressive come back performance against a no name.

Mosley had just drew with Sergio Mora was dominated by Mayweather and was 40 years old.

LOL this shows how insecure you are, this has nothing to do with Khan and your also wrong that Khans best win is Judah.

That is not nearly fair, I expect better from you to be honest.

Most people gave Hatton a shot, and pretty much no one predicted the demolition job. De La Hoya didn't land a glove on Pacquiao, he was clearly badly weight drained, but still a punch perfect performance. Cotto I would say in many peoples eyes was a 50/50 or 60/40 for Pac. I don't think 1 person could have predicted the dominance in that performance. It was a near shut out, and brutal beating. Clottey...coming off a loss? Yes, a close loss to a great fighter, where you could make an argument for him winning. Poor analogy.

Right after the Floyd/Hatton fight, people were giving no chance to Pac against Hatton. More so against Cotto. Go back and check the threads on this topic. Check the other boxing sites as well and you'll discover a different perception.
It was after the domination of DLH when most realized that Pac can handle bigger guys and in very convincing fashion.
After KOing Hatton in two, the acceptance of Pac's capabilities in the WW division was solidified more and made him the slight favorite against Cotto.

The point being made here is, all the downgrading and the dissing of Pac's accomplishments and his opponents came after he dominated them. His critics, mainly Floyd fans, would not admit that this 'little fella' could possibly, just possibly, erase their idol's 0. They tried all means to discredit Pac's wins. From peds to being a hype job, one-dimensional and what have you, to fighting only left-overs, shot fighters and bums.

Now, remove Floyd and his die-hard fans out of the picture. Imagine a scenario where Floyd is in another division, let's say three divisions apart from Pac, like it use to be when Pac was a super featherweight and was not a threat to Floyd's 0. Better yet, just take them out completely. Think about how the situation would change dramatically. Would people still be saying that Pac is a hype job, one-dimensional, etc.? Would they still call Pac's opponents bums, shot fighters, etc.?

              Think about it.

compared to the rest of his career? no, it didn't contribute much.

but that's considering how there are no "barrera-type" guys around from 2009 onwards. its not as if there is someone there in his weight class at that time that the majority would pick pacquiao to lose.

clottey was a solid win. margarito was an ok win even if you considered him being ko'd and the handwrap thing. mosley is garbage, the jmm fight not really for legacy but to close the book on that story.

He's added nothing to his resume since 2009. LOL @ Margarito and Clottey being worth anything. Get off your knees.

First of all I’m not a fan of Floyd this thread is not about Floyd and none of my posts have mentioned Pac vs Floyd. I have criticized him greatly in the past however I do believe he is the superior boxer and would beat Pac and beat him convincingly.

I don’t care what these forums suggested if you look at the odds at the bookmakers (the guys who really matter)for both the Hatton and Cotto fights Pac was a big favourite in both.

The best win in the higher weight classes is Cotto because he was the one closest to his prime but looking back in hindsight the win is tainted by the catch weight and i think its fair to say Cotto was and will never be the same after his brutal loss against Margarito.
