Manny Pacquiao's resume hasn't improved since 2009 !!

Pacquiao has a great resume, but over the last 3 has had seemingly more and more proponents that want to rank him as a top 25 (or even top 3 :rofl) ATG. He has really built well on his brand since then, but he hasn't done much legacy wise to keep pushing him further up one's personal list of ATGs. Since the general consensus is that Pacquiao hasn't done anything for his resume since he was 29, why do we find so many people ranking him higher on ATG lists than they would have at 29? It reminds me of 10 or so years ago when you had tons of people all talking and arguing about how Roy Jones Jr was the greatest fighter of all-time. You really can't accurately rank guys until their careers are officially complete.Comment

Floyd isn't fighting better fighters since 2009, and those last wins are supposed to be his icing on the cake, jus to show you how Floyd's record is a joke.
I mean, Manny fought an old over the hill Mosley??So did Floyd, Floyd fought Ortiz, who to me isn't better than Clottey.
Mayweather fought Mosley after Mosleys KO victory against Antonio Margarito in the 9th round , in 2010 , and when Mosley fought Antonio Margarito , Mosley was the number 1 Welterweight in the world .
Bob Arum in 2009 : Bob Arum recommends Mayweather to fight Mosley
“The fight that should be made is Mayweather and Shane Mosley. But Mayweather won’t take that fight. He won’t take any fight where there is any possibility where he might lose. Money is secondary with him. He will not take a chance like a normal fighter. He cares more about his legacy and being able to retire undefeated, so he could say that he never lost a fight.I think Shane Mosley, because of his style, has the best chance to beat Mayweather.”
Pacquiao fought Mosley after his loss to Floyd Mayweather and the draw against Sergio Mora , Pacquiao was scared to fight Mosley before Mayweather he wanted to fight him at a Catchweight.
+ You are comparing Clottey and Ortiz but last time i checked Victor Ortiz was the WBC World Champion .Last edited by SyrianUser; 11-08-2011, 05:33 PM.Comment

Lol Clottey was coming off a contrversial loss to Cotto in which more than half the people who watched the fight believe he won. . . He took little damage. . .
Margarito, yes, the Mosley KO was still definitely recent - but he did come off a shutout win over a journeyman. . .Comment
