His fight against Clottey wasn't an amazing win but it was certainly a decent win for Pacquiao. Clottey was a top 5 welterweight and only one fight before did he arguably beat Cotto ( had the fight not been in MSG maybe the result could of been different and in Clottey's favor.)

His fight against Margarito did add another world title in a different weight class to Pacquiao's achivements but Margarito wasn't really a worthy opponent considering what he had done at the time. He was dominated and stopped for the first time in his career against Mosley, was banned due to illegal wraps and then came back and won a decision against some journeymen and that somehow got him a title shot against Pacquiao.

His fight against Mosley was a waste of time imo considering Mosley was 0-1-1 in his last two fights ( one being a lopsided decision loss to Floyd and the other being a draw against Sergio Mora) but what does work in Pacquiao's favor is the fact Mosley was still a top rated welterweight.

His next fight against Marquez also does nothing for his resume. Marquez does not belong at welterweight. simple as that.
Clottey only got the fight because he was Top Rank. If Floyd would have ever fought Clottey you would see how people REALLY feel about Clottey. CLottey has yet to win a fight since 2008 and that was vs Judah who had mentally lost it.

Margarito should have never happened. Mosley should have never happened. All the young guys like Berto, Ortiz, Bradley, Alexander could have improved his legacy. The problem was, they where all looking good at the time Pac was looking for a fighter to fight. Unlike Clottey, Margarito and Mosley. I really don't understand how people really think it improves his legacy. Again if Floyd had fought the same people at the same time, peoples true feelings would be revealed about them. They already did with Mosley but back tracked when Pac "selected" him... They will do the same about Ortiz too even though they have labeled him as a bum.

Since 2009, it's unjustified as to why Pac is a Top P4P fighter. Pac is still living off a 2009 CW win over Cotto.

The Record speaks the truth, Pacman resume is much much better than
Any present active professional boxers today:

He's on top of The Best PFP!
Can you still improve if you're #1PFP?
He was finally recognized as Guinness Book of World Record holder of 8 Crowns of diff weight Div.

Boxing Legends and Hollywood celebrities say positive things about Pacman! A clear indication that he keeps on improving.

Renown International magazines such Time, Newsweek, RING magazines, Sports Illustrated, and even BWAA, Yahoo and ESPN clearly recognized Pacman as the Best among the current Boxing Champions!

USA TV show keeps on inviting Pacman, that’s one reason why his rival Floydie went to radio station to ARGUE and get a badly needed attention!

Not surprised. I noticed this long ago. Atlas even outed him, trashing ever victory since Diaz.

It's kinda sad that Pacquiao is wasting his prime years on these meaningless fights. It has now been two years for crying out loud !!

Do you guys agree or do you think that Manny's resume did improve since the Cotto fight?
Over the hill and/or irrelevant fighters is correct. That's the best way to put it. Even if you're not a Mayweather fan, making a comment like that about Pacquiao would have *******s calling you a *****. If not, they'd say that you're jealous of Pac because you're voicing your opinion. If someone doesn't praise Pacquiao to the high heavens, it's like a mortal sin on these online boxing communities. :****you:

              Forgot to mention earlier,

pac won fighter of the decade award - that alone should solidify his claim to having the best resume of the last 10 yrss at least, and most likely 20 as well.

I agree entirely. But Clottey is actually Pacman's best win over 140 IMO. Cotto was a decent win, to me, but I rank the Clottey victory higher because Clottey is & was dangerous & team Pacman did not ask for a stipulation giving him an advantage to fight him. They needed a catchweight to fight Cotto, (although I don't see why).

But Margarito, Mosley & Marquez are simply shameless. I was a huge Pacman fan, but the Margarito fiasco completely opened my eyse to what Pacman had become, which is the same thing I hated Floyd for, for cherrypicking.

I also agree with Manny Fresh, B-Hop's resume is better than Pacman's & in time he'll be the greater atg of the 2.

I genuinely think people are making threads like this because their feelings are hurt that Pac got FOTD, which speaks for itself, and they are trying to make themselves feel better.

Pity their cheaptalk dont change the facts.

Here's a fact for you Pacman has only faced one champion above 140 & it was a catchweight.
