    Manny Pacquiao's resume hasn't improved since 2009 !!

I was thinking about this the other day. Since the Cotto fight, Pacquiao has only fought over-the-hill/irrelevant fighters. Clottey, Margarito, Mosley and now JMM. These fights don't do anything for Manny's legacy.

It's kinda sad that Pacquiao is wasting his prime years on these meaningless fights. It has now been two years for crying out loud !!

Do you guys agree or do you think that Manny's resume did improve since the Cotto fight?

whether you think that is true or not, pac still has the best resume of this era by a good margin.

In the long run it will be best Manny fought these guys, though. . . At the end of the day, there won't be ONE SINGLE fighter somebody could bring up "that would have beat Manny". . . Pacquiao's number one haters and excuse makers love nothing more than to give Floyd "pretend victories" over guys that, yeah he probably would beat. . . BUT never faced them. . . HUGE difference. . . Because you never know for sure in this deadly game known as PUGILISM. . . Not to mention, before Manny fought CLottey and margarito, the haters and excuse makers were saying: "Manny would NEVER fight 'a guy like Clottey or margarito' at 147. . . "

I think Mosley is the only truly "wasteful" fight he has taken. . . Clottey is DANGEROUSLY underrated. . . He LITERALLY has NEVER been in such a one-sided beat down in his life. . . And I bet when he comes back he collects a few nice scalps. . .

I can tolerate the jmm fight though because there is a genuine rivalry between the two and the third fight was bound to happen eventually.

I completely agree, and the only real alternative at the time as an opponent. Was Andre Berto and JMM. Berto as many suspected was not up to the task, and Pac's currently slated to fight JMM. If cleaning out all the relevant names around Pac's weight is a waste of time, then yes. Pac wasted his time.
