    he is better

    but not a different fighter or "evolved"

    part of him being so dominant is his punches and feet being riducluosly fast for the welters he faced to handle and he can take and dish out punnishment with bigger guys

    skill wise he is only slightly better imo

    Manny's skillset hasn't changed much, if at all, since the first Morales fight.

    He still boxes in the same in and out style, he still can't manage to cut the ring off whatsoever, he still fights on the same crazy angles, he still tends to lead with his left more than his right, etc....

    He's just significantly faster than most of his opponets, and much more comfortable in his abilities now than he was at the lower weights. Maturity also plays a big role in this, IMO.
    ok, i got your point...

    as i've said, i got confused regarding "gaining confidence and experience" would not make you a better fighter...that's how i read your thoughts..

    but do you think with his accomplishments in his career, in his own way of acquiring all these attributes, it did not make him a better boxer?

      I think he'll be unable to stop JMM but win a tough earned decision.

        If YOU got skill in boxing you gonna be RECOGNIZED!
        see the faces of his opponents!
        THEY RECOGNIZED the power of his Left and right combos!
        hence, he was given those AWARDS!
        In fact the USA Pres knows how skillful Pacman is, when he invited him inside the white house;
        USA, TV Shows also recognized the skills of Pacman so they guested him!
        Ads Company also recognized Pacman;Boxings legends also recognized him;
        Only the Mayweathers team and their loyal fans doesn't recognize him...

        in the end, there are Few who HATED Pacman;
        but, MANY LOVES him including Americans!

        Majority rules!!!

          JMM is smart enough to learn from their mistakes, and I believe he won't try to slug it out.
          yes

          i mentioned his power and chin earlier that is what really helps him with the big guys cause he practicly is a big guy besides the weight

          i think jmm will fight a good hard fight and pose some problems for pac

          but his age might not let him last the distance

          regardless it will be worth the ppv money IMO

            i like pac and what im saying is he was as good as he is now and was all along but the smaller guys (marquez, morales) styles gave himmore trouble from a technical and tactical standpoint than the big boys in many instances

            he deserverd those arawrds but imnot trying to down play his acomplishments im trying to discus his development

                    This is what I think too. It's disappointing as a boxing fan to see how this fight doesn't have as much hype as his antonio and Mosley bouts even though it's much more legit. Only setbacks is he purposely waited so long until JMM is really on the decline, and it isn't really a suitable weight. People naturally buy into the hype too much that greater size automatically means tougher fight. skills and styles are more important unless the size difference is ridiculous.
