Has paquiao really gotten that much better???

point is they didn't have to choose 144 at all
Pac is at WW now, so if JMM is gonna chase him, that's where it'll be
Pac's done with JMM, he already handled him twice at his best weight
Pac's not the one desperate for a 3rd fight, JMM is
he's lucky he's getting any slack at all
dude needs to learn to be careful what you ask for in case you get itComment

.....Lol De la hoya who fought at Middleweight came in @ 145 to fight Pacquiao and he had to starve himself to the point of looking like a zombie. Yet he had the bigger name and he was doing Pacquiao a favor. Thats real accommodation.point is they didn't have to choose 144 at all

While Pacquiao could go lower if he actually wanted to accommodate Marquez and make it more of a competitive fight... yet he chose not to. While bragging about how he's not going to show mercy lol which was already evident by his weight choice. Maybe that just says something about his camp, or it shows that they want to have every possible advantage when they fight a man that pretty much every one outside of his hardcore fans agrees gave Pacquiao a boxing lesson.
and No, getting outboxed and losing more rounds in both fights isn't handling anybody.Comment

Oscar wasn't doing Pac any favors, he was supposed to kill Pac .....Lol De la hoya who fought at Middleweight came in @ 145 to fight Pacquiao and he had to starve himself to the point of looking like a zombie. he cherrypicked him to avoid fighting Tony
not Pac's fault he took off weight improperly
he looked fine at 150 vs Forbes right before that
and you're going in circles on the JMM fight
it wouldn't be anymore competitive at JWW than at WW
and tough shit about outboxing him twice, he still lost twice
that's what happens when you get knocked down in close fights
it's a 10 point must system, not just rdsComment

I think one of Pac's biggest improvements that tends to get overlooked is in his balance and positioning. Watch the Pac-JMM 2 fight again, Pac would often lunge in, be off-balance and on one foot which is where he caught a lot of counter punches. He's reduced that tendency greatly since that fight, and not coincidentally his defense has improved.Comment

Dela Hoya was the one calling the shot in that fight. He wanted a piece of Pacquiao so he called him out and was the one who choose 147... No, he wasn't accommodating Pacquiao. More like he wanted a win against a prized fighter so badly and he thought he could get it from Pacquiao.Comment

says who? that's speculation. I say it would be more competitive.Oscar wasn't doing Pac any favors, he was supposed to kill Pac

and noone is arguing who won. Manny won 1 fight on points Marquez gave him a boxing lesson and took more rounds both fights.
which is why theres a 3rdComment

what I was saying was, He fought Pacquiao at that weight because that was the lowest weight he could make.Dela Hoya was the one calling the shot in that fight. He wanted a piece of Pacquiao so he called him out and was the one who choose 147... No, he wasn't accommodating Pacquiao. IMO
More like he wanted a win against a prized fighter so badly and he thought he could get it from Pacquiao.
So it was a form of accommodation IMO. While we know Pacquiao could go lower if he wanted to.Comment

says everyone who's seen JMM getting dropped in almost every LW fight
he's not going to do any better above that weight
JMM lost both fights because he can't take a punch
1st fight was way wider than what they gave him
there's a 3rd because Pac's staying busy waiting for Floyd
the trilogy fight is pointless, Pac will beat him again and prove nothingComment
