Team Paul Williams: "Kelly Pavlik Did The Correct Thing"

I actually like Williams more but posters like you who take other people's posts personally and instantly start making smart ass remarks that add nothing to the debate tend to disgust me.

All I did was suggest that Pavlik is not physically afraid of Paul Williams and that he did the best thing for his career considering Williams was not willing to wait the short period Pavlik asked for.

Turns out about 15 people think I insulted their mothers and had to make some dumb**** retort that didn't really discredit any of my points.

I'm a huge Paul Williams fan! and see your under alot of heat on here defending pav. I don't feel that Kelly is physically afraid of Paul either but I do believe his camp thought that there was a great chance he could lose and wanted to protect him from back to back losses! I won't bash Kelly but this is what stinks most to me about the while situation: a couple a weeks ago Jack says kelly can't make a fist, he can't train and was in the gym hitting the bag with one hand trying to train so they can't make the fight and pull out! And he never said that Kelly needed two more weeks to train to be ready or even let on that Kelly would be better soon! he made it seem like they were in loimbo about when Kelly could continue his career and now he's fighting two weeks after a date he pulled out of! That is what is undefensable to me and curious to know what your take is on that?

people are taking this most avoided fighter **** too seriously. does anyone really think pavlik is afraid to fight williams? i think pavlik is taking this new fight of his as a tuneup to see if his hand is better. why would he fight a top continder with a messed up hand.

I see somebody is still butthurt! Get over it. He beat margie with the wraps. Here is a test to see how well u actually recovered from that let down.

Wow, Pavlik was possibly my second favorite fighter behind Cotto and he pulls this ****. I lost ALL respect for him, I hate PWill but if they fight I hope PWill seriously f u c k s his ass up.

I am actually in shock reading this, I believed Pavlik with his infection story. What a chump, he has no interest in defending the title against live opponents.
