Paul Williams wasted how much of the year waiting for Pavlik to get his act together? HBO even moved Shane Mosley from the December 5 date to accomodate this fight.

Pavlik deserves to get **** on by all boxing fans.

All I did was suggest that Pavlik is not physically afraid of Paul Williams and that he did the best thing for his career considering Williams was not willing to wait the short period Pavlik asked for.

Turns out about 15 people think I insulted their mothers and had to make some dumb**** retort that didn't really discredit any of my points.
Who cares who you're a fan of and who do you think you're fooling?

You came on here as soon as the fight was announced and said, "Kelly Pavlik never had an obligation to fight Paul Williams" as if he didn't sign a contract to do just that!

Then you tried to speculate on Espina possibly being his mandatory, even though Pavlik was gonna defend all his belts against Williams a couple weeks before, without being stripped.

And you think you have points? Of course you would.

      ****ing clown.

Most of you believe Pavlik is faking a serious illness and is scared of Williams. I for one believe he is not scared of Williams and I also doubt any of you are doctors and know little if anything about MRSA. I know someone who has MRSA and he is not confined to a hospital. He was infected with MRSA two years after he had a simple operation and he has been dealing with an infection for the last three years now that he will most likely die from. So, instead of passing judgment on Pavlik maybe you all should try a little compassion, or is that to much to ask for?

Yes, it is. The man cancelled dates with Williams twice. I spoke to people in his camp several times leading up to the second cancellation and, after seeing everything that's transpired after, they're all full of ****. I wouldn't be surprised if Arum was doing this to get back at Haymon/Goosen. But if you thinkt he fighter who could "barely train," "couldn't make a fist" has now healed and will be ready to go on December 19th, then you probably believe in the tooth fairy as well.

I simply find it hard to believe that Pavlik would fake a serious illness to get out of a fight. Now, I have to go because I have to put some change under my pillow before I go to sleep.

Thats why am shocked, I defend Pavlik too even when i saw a su****ious looking interview about his staph infection by his trainer on B O X I N G T A L K, But for me to annouce a fight within two weeks after saying they are not sure when his hands would be given the go ahead by the doctor is a smack in the face and a clear duck to me....Am shocked.

Team Pavlik Is Full Of ****

Even though I was never a fan of Kelly Pavlik I at least found him to be credible but after this I'm not so sure. After two postponements & initially Team Pavlik saying he wouldn't be ready to go until January, Team Pavlik has lost all credibility as far as I'm concerned. I've suspected for quite some time that GREEDY ass Bob Arum was more concerned about the "image" of Pavlik & how he would be "perceived" more so than this guy actually fighting "top" competitors. And to the "usual suspects" who are drunk off the Pavlik kool-aid, if this was Mayweather you would have hung him already (no pun intended) but because Pavlik's your guy you make endless excuses for him. Until he defends his title against someone of note, he's all symbol & no substance.

I don't see what the problem is with Pavlik taking this fight. He said weeks ago that he wanted to fight PWill on the 19th instead of the 5th so his hand could have more time to heal. Team PWill said whatever and moved on. He's fighting Martinez because he didn't want to wait a few more weeks for Pavlik. Is Kelly supposed to sit on the sidelines forever? I don't get why people think Pavlik is scared of a welterweight who's unproven at 160. If Kelly doesn't mention Paul's name after the Espina fight then it's fair to rip him. If Paul would've agreed to the Dec. 19 date, he and Pavlik would be fighting. But he wanted to move on, so Pavlik now has no choice to move on.
