Seriously. Anyone who thinks Jones losing at the end seriously damages his legacy is being short-sighted. No, history will be very, very favorable to Jones and rightfully so. Not to many fighters do well past 35 and the ones who did weren't doing what Jones was doing at 25.
Will A Win Over Roy Give Hopkins A Better Legacy Than Jones?

how about who fought more HOF opposition?......................We can compare what Bernard has done from 35-45 to what Roy did from 35-45.... as long as we can compare what Roy did from 20-30, to what bernard did from 20-30.
Like I said, Jones career consists of his 20's and early 30's... Hopkins career consists of his 30's and early 40's.
You can't just give all credit to who last longer, what about who got there first?Comment

Ive also already stated that... Hopkins had more "star" names on his resume, but most of them had to come up in weight... Roy has less "star" names on his resume, but he went up in weight to defeat them all.Comment

ADD rhe fact that BHOP schooled RJJ conqueror.................GCJ and Tarver.................yes that was past prime but devastating KO nonetheless............Comment

Ok he beat the guys that beat Roy, but Roy still beat Bernard... and yeah we can talk about how he was knocked out, as long as we include him dropping down two weight classes to regain the LHW title before he was. Where even in a win, Roy looked horrible.Comment
