Falls flat on his face attempting to strike in one of those matches. We'll see how it all holds up against a live contender....

The power is there the speed is there but the punches are not thrown on the move but in static position, also too much of his game revolves around the left hand. If Usyk gets passed the first 3 rounds, which is likely, it is going to be a Dubois like fight all over again....Joseph likes this.

From the short clip I've seen I was not impressed by the movement patterns, seems like a somewhat stiff predictable boxer with some power and has the advantage of youth against a walking punching bag looking for a check.shwaap likes this.

Won't matter, Canelo is going to lock in too, Canelo is not a Soviet bum Crawford struggled against recently. This fight won't be close.

Still Haney cuts from 165lbs being a 140 fighter is very close to 3G walk around weight, in terms of weight discrepancy it would not have been anything unseen given Haney is not much bigger than/similar sized to Mayweather....Last edited by Haka; 08-14-2025, 03:23 PM.

Ward must have sensed the writing on the wall about the rumours of the real deal Soviets Bivol and Beter (as opposed to Kov who wasn't bad himself) who were knocking on the door at the time and lock in/ cash in his 0 status expecting to have the superstar treatment for the rest of his life as a career/business...

3G could've made the cut to 154 easily too being not a pound over 170 out of camp given these MMA fighters all cut 20-25 each....

Yes Whyte had his head up in the cloud, was so close to being champion and got taken down back to earth by ancient Povetkin I see the same scenario unfold here, same KO even....
