Anyone who thinks that 50/50 was realistic in any Fury/Usyk fight is living in a dream world.

Usyk and his team of chicken farmers got greedy.
Unless my memory is deceiving me, Usyk wasn't a 3 belt world heavyweight champion when he fought Chisora

He was still a undisputed world champion, far more than anything Chisora achieved in his career.

He was a former undisputed champion.

What do you think the spilt would be if he defended his 3 heavyweight world titles against Chisora?

No idea, but Chisora sells more tickets & PPVs even now.

Belts are irrelevant, it's all about the money.

Usyk sold more PPVs against Chisora than Fury did and he earned more money for his last fight than Del Boy and Fury's highest ever purses combined.

Do you know what a mandatory is?

Usyk was entitled to 25% for one fight. That's it. I'm guessing he got a bit more than 25% plus a rematch. If it wasn't a good offer he could have just taken the 25%. It was his choice.
They negotiate before the fight happens the same way they were negotiating the rematch with Fury. It's very simple. Mandatories aren't forced to take the 75/25 split.

Yes Usyk took the required 25% because he wasn't worth more. Then he took less than 50% as the unified heavyweight champion against a contender.
So how is a 70/30 and 50/50 rematch deal worse than what he got against AJ?

It was his choice to back out of negotiations against Fury because he didn't want the 50/50 split in the rematch.

They still said it before the 70/30 split was even mentioned. They said it while they were still trying to set up the 50/50 deal in the middle east.

See your problem is you read the final statement which is simply the conclusion to my comment. You either can't read or you're deliberately ignoring the facts above the statement you're focusing on.

Maybe if you read the actual articles instead of just the headlines you wouldn't be a reactionary person and get salty when someone points out the actual information.

Yes, Fury would still be far more known worldwide and the bigger attraction for ticket sales. He just beat AJ, the second biggest draw in heavyweight boxing and Usyk is still nowhere near as popular as Fury is with 1 belt.

Even if Andy Ruiz had beaten Joshua in the rematch, he wouldn't be as popular as Joshua is.
