Go back and see the replies to that post and how it turned into my talking about how McMuffin is the face of UFC.

ts a lot harder to see a punch coming when you're also thinking about defending kicks and takedowns. And even if you see it you have tiny gloves that you cant effectively block with, and getting too slick with the head movement can get you baited onto a head kick or knee.

Dudes get absolutely wiped the **** out in MMA compared to boxing usually. A lot of boxing finishes are the ref just waving the fight off because its not deemed competitive anymore while the guy is standing up and protesting. You dont see anywhere near as many clean, satisfying, dramatic finishes.
You can't spar hard in MMA. That's one of the main reason they're bad with their hands and even feet a lot of the time. In boxing, there's wars in the gym. There's so much more experience had. And only the tough survive, which are typically talented and athletic people. But MMA guys are delusional. There's so many unathletic dudes that aren't successful in other sports that do MMA. I've seen this 30's, out of shape, unathletic dude come in the gym talking about his experience in MMA and Judo and saying things like, "You know, Judo is more of a chess match.. boxing it's well... you'll hit me and I'll hit you and we'll see who can take it."

It's delusional ****. Just pure ******ity. I mean this guy looked like he'd have trouble throwing a baseball.

It's a waste of time discussing this kind of stuff with people who don't live it and aren't in the world of fighting. Little ****ing kids asking about the "record" of a professional fighter when they've never laced them up a day in their life. It's embarrassing. These kid of dumb asses only live on the internet.

You're creating a fictitious unathletic old MMA fighter who "looked like he'd have trouble throwing a baseball" to **** on UFC level MMA fighters. Do the legions of guys with sub 1% winning rates whos entire career is based around helping to pad the records of 19 year old kids represent the typical skill and athleticism level of boxing?

And black dudes can compete in MMA too. The UFC currently has 4 of their 7 belts held by black guys & 3 African rooted black guys at that (Nigeria x2 & Cameroon).
Not to mention Tyson Fury and BJ Saunders both hold World Titles.

Oh, you mean the same Ngannou who just announced that he is becoming a Pro Boxer as he always wanted to be a boxer like Mike Tyson?

                    Doh.... didn't you hear that?

Outside of this forum, I never hear anyone talk about MMA/UFC.Combat sports are very niche, most people aren't into that stuff at all.
