I'm tired of you and this now go watch UFc or skip right over it and look for the gay section on ****hub been as that's clearly what you are into. You've admitted since the start of this thread that Boxing is bigger internationally, that boxing pay's it's athletes more that boxing has more successful PPV's it's as if you've forgotten what you were arguing lol you dumb **** anyway onto the block list bye.

Oh the insecurity. I watched the Whyte/Povetkin and UFC cards back to back last weekend and actually commented on here about how ****ing awesome the Cheeseman fight was. Because i'm a combat sports fan, I like watching ****ing wars whatever the sport. Whereas you expect people to blindly defend boxing to the death or else they cant possibly be a fan of it.

I blame Don King for the slow, painful death of boxing.
Before King we had all the biggest fights on terrestrial TV, Don King's greed saw all kinds of money making shenanigans, PPV's and bad PR.
It has never recovered.Comment

That's because MMA fighters are treated as chattel and are paid very badly in comparison.
It's easier to get a hungry man motivated.
I loved MMA in the early days, when you'd have a Sumo wrestler vs a Boxer or a Karate master vs a Judo expert.
When they started merging all the techniques it lost its magic and I lost interest. Should never have happened, each discipline used to be proud and honourable now it's all about efficiency and grappling.
I'd watch the old style every day of the week. If they brought in a strikes only MMA with no grappling, I'd be all over that too.
Watching semi naked men writhing and grinding on the floor just doesn't do it for me.Comment

Out of that 100 million for Floyd, he got 38 million.
I'm a pro at this game, talking with me is a priviledge. Might be going paypal soon for these knowledge tutes, get your plastic ready.
The best do NOT fight the best, keep drinking that kool aids and those little floaties in it, that's dana's dna snoodles.
Now I love watching boxing more and I don't think MMA will ever overtake boxing due to the history of it in Amerika, but you obviously don't know what you're talking about. He's a highest earner in the UFC due to promotion, but he is NOT the face of the UFC lol. There is no one face of the ufc. The best fight the best, 1 champ per 8(not 17) weight classes. Mcgregor is nothing more than a name fighters can add to their resume now. Just like Woodley. He's just getting his azz whipped each time out now and is totally washed, but he still has a name. Anderson Silver went out the same way losing to the younger guys putting them over. Right now, Tyson and Roy Jones just had the highest ppv of boxing in years. If someone made an argument that either one of these guys were the face of boxing, we'd all look at them ******. I will always love boxing more than UFC, but I do not like the model of boxing that we have now with 17 weight classes, 6 belts per weight class(wba regular/super, wbc franchise and other bull****), promoters, A side arguments, and no one wanting to lose their "0". Adesanya just jumped up a weight calss(and weight classes in MMA don't go up 3 and 5 pounds) and lost his first match trying to become a 2 division champ. Being a 2 division champ in MMA is way more valuable than going to 3 or 4 weight classes picking up 1 title beating the weakest opposition. Bottom line is that when we watch the UFC, we ALWAYS get the fights we want. in boxing, that rarely happens today
Tyson been retired for 16 years WTF LMAO. Jones been retired for 3 years and been a nonfactor for 17 years ROFL LOL. Whatever you smokin, flush it down the toilet. You got brainrot son.
What a r3tarded comparison!!! mcmuffin had a win last year and just got knocked the fcuk out by an old nail a few months ago.

Just look at the quality of full cards in the UFC compared to boxing too. 90+% of boxing cards have the depth of a free UFC Fight Night card. The UFC has full cards that get people hype as **** for multiple fights. Imagine you had like Canelo/BJS, Whyte/Povetkin 2, Chocolatito/Estrada 2, Rungvisais last fight and Okolie/Glowacki on one PPV card.
Thats the whole ****ing point. Two men with a combined age of over 100 who are retired just did the biggest boxing PPV numbers since.....oh yeah, a retired boxer vs an MMA fighter. The next biggest fight will be a Youtuber vs an MMA fighter. Are you not seeing the issue here? the UFC is doing big PPV numbers regularly with fights between actual active MMA fighters.Comment

The first 1M purse was recent is what I was saying. On top of that, you proved that one boxer in boxing makes more than all of those purses combined.... You realize that they're paid fair for their work right? Boxers and MMA fighters.
Economics is all you need to know. Look at the price of a ringside (top MMA fighter) ticket vs a top boxers ticket. It's night and day dude. Wake up.Comment
