Who says it is going 12 rounds in either direction? Kotelnik has never faced a fighter as fast as Khan. And with Khan moving up to 140 his natural weight, he is going to carry more pop on his punches. Kotelnik could be stopped before he even gets a chance to land on Khan.

He gets a lot of attention because he's an Olympic silver medallist, has had a lot of TV exposure, is blindingly fast, obviously talented, has one of the world's best trainers, has a pleasant personality, and does a lot of charity work. And if he does beat Kotelnik, then he'll have a very good win indeed under his belt. Who had Froch beaten before Taylor? Who had Foreman beaten before Frazier? Just because he hasn't any notable wins yet, doesn't necessarily mean he won't win this fight. He's improved dramatically under Roach. And it was Kotelnik who gave him the shot in a voluntary defence, so to praise him for effectively calling Khan a bum is ridiculous - why aren't you criticising Kotelnik for fighting bums, if you agree with his assessment?

Olympic Silver Medal (at the age of 17), Prescott, Barrera, Kotelnik on his pro resume already and he is only 22.

Prescott was nobody when Khan fought him. and Barreras best days were at featherweight.

Ortiz and Maidana are fighting for the Interim title, and as I say I don't know what if anything that means (other than an opportunity to charge a sanctioning fee).

Just for the sake of comparison since a ****** ass Khan fan asked what 22 year old fighter has a better resume...

Juan Diaz won the 135 pound title, was 30-0 and had made 4 defenses of the belt by the time he was the age that Amir Khan is now.
