Co-sign, remember Graham Earl??? The Guy who had an all out war with Katsidis...
He called Khan a boy and got under his nerves and look what happened to him

      Hold up, hold up...

This fight is for the WBA title at 140, we all know that. So what the fuck is Ortiz doing fighting some guy called Maidana for the WBA title at 140 as well?! This is nuts.

That's for the interim title, whatever that means. And Maidana is the guy Kotelnik beat in his last fight.

Err... so is Khan fighting Kotelnik for an interim title, or is that the one Ortiz is going for? Man, the WBA suck. Mendoza needs a brutal beating.

He gets a lot of attention because he's an Olympic silver medallist, has had a lot of TV exposure, is blindingly fast, obviously talented, has one of the world's best trainers, has a pleasant personality, and does a lot of charity work. And if he does beat Kotelnik, then he'll have a very good win indeed under his belt. Who had Froch beaten before Taylor? Who had Foreman beaten before Frazier? Just because he hasn't any notable wins yet, doesn't necessarily mean he won't win this fight. He's improved dramatically under Roach. And it was Kotelnik who gave him the shot in a voluntary defence, so to praise him for effectively calling Khan a bum is ridiculous - why aren't you criticising Kotelnik for fighting bums, if you agree with his assessment?

Olympic Silver Medal (at the age of 17), Prescott, Barrera, Kotelnik on his pro resume already and he is only 22.
Prescott was nobody when Khan fought him. and Barreras best days were at featherweight.
              so no.just no.

Kotelnik is the WBA champion. Khan is fighting him for the WBA title.

Ortiz and Maidana are fighting for the Interim title, and as I say I don't know what if anything that means (other than an opportunity to charge a sanctioning fee).

Khan hasn't done much seen as this is his 22nd fight and is still considered a prospect.

Right. Well, thanks for clearing that up at the very least. :thumb1:

Just for the sake of comparison since a ****** ass Khan fan asked what 22 year old fighter has a better resume...

Juan Diaz won the 135 pound title, was 30-0 and had made 4 defenses of the belt by the time he was the age that Amir Khan is now.
