man this guy's really trying to belittle khan, wats worse than being called a BOY/CHILD in boxing lol...

i gotta agree tho, khan has still gotta prove himself..

but kotelnik might be setting himself up to be just that proof, i dont think khan will KO him, but he does hav the speed/stamina to stay away and out work him all night...

UD khan...anyone wanna bet on my measly points? lol

True, but Lennox Lewis had his first meaningful professional fight when he was 27, and it was his 24th professional fight.

Khan taking on someone of Kotelnik's calibre at this stage of his career is very praiseworthy, and high risk, and he certainly doesn't deserve the ridiculous hate he is getting - although as I've said previously, I wish he wasn't fighting for a belt yet.

Juan Diaz didn't fight in the olympics, and turned pro at 16. Plus his record was largely padded before he won his title. You could say that he didn't do anything to warrant his title shot in the first place...much like people are saying about Khan. The fact is, he did get a title shot and he took his chance. I just hope Khan does the same.

The fact that he didn't fight in the Olympics and was never a standout amateur should have held him back from winning a world title.

My point is simply that there are more than a handful or fighters who accomplished more than Khan has at this stage of his career.

On top of that look at Diaz's willingness to defend his strap against tough comp. I will eat **** sandwiches for 3 months straight if Amir Khan ever fights 3 guys on the level of Campbell, Katsidis and JMM in a 1 year period.

Well Khan hasn't yet won a title so I wouldn't judge him just yet. I reckon some of the matchups will surprise people if he does win the title.

If the WBA forces a fight between Khan and Ortiz I bet you that Amir vacates his belt before fighting him.

Kotelnik is scared, and trying to get in the young lads head. Freddie Roach is like spinach to a boxer. (he cares for his fighters, he comes up with exceptional gameplans, and takes no credit, and his health is deteriorating - so his fighters see this man struggling to make them better, he does not complain). Amir Khan does have a suspect chin, but with freddie roach's training i think he will simply not get hit as much. Khan is dam good, i honestly think he just needed a better trainer. (the way i see it is America has the best trainers, we just have too many distractions for our fighters, thats why you see this european boom in belt holders) just my opinion.

I have Khan winning this one comfortably. Anyone fancy a bet? I got 40k that says Khan wins.

As if hes going to fight those kind of names at this point in his career....this is what is anoying about people...just because DIAZ might of done this by 22....it dont mean khan should be...some people peak early...some late....khan is jst going with the flow taking his chances as he gets them why wouldnt you ? especially with freddy in ur corner...

anyway i hope khan wins...n i trust in freddy to do the right things with him

You have no evidence for saying that, other than your dislike of the guy.
