he jumped 5 to fight david diaz (130-135) and 12 more to fight oscar (135-147). there's half a year between those two fights of him. 5 + 12 = 17 pounds gained in half a year

anyways, I think Marquez is a little bit too small to fight Mayweather at 147, but I dont care too much. Id definately love to see this fight. even though Marquez is a little overmatched, the skill level in the fight would be fantastic.
