Anyone saw how slow Marguez looked against Juan Diaz? What weight was that,135. Some fighter just look thick for their weight. Marguez looked heavy at 135lbs Floyd on the other hand was still skinny at 148, 149 when he fought Oscar De La Hoya. If Marquez didn't look good in his fight against J.Diaz why should he look better fighting at a higher weight vs a better fighter than Diaz?
Then Marquez shouldn't get bigger. Come in as the smaller guy.

manny is not 5'5 they measure him before fights, marquez didnt look slow against diaz he looked great and proved his point by beating a naturally bigger brawling bully type of fighter, floyd did not look skinny when he faught oscar, did u see how much his arms and upper body bulked up, watch a fight from him at 135 and then watch da oscar fight tell me he didnt bulk up, marquez looked trim and strong at 135

Floyd looked that way because he didn't need to cut weight. Its his natural weight so he looked bulkier because there was no cutting involved.

Marquez looked trim because he had to cut water weight, and the fat picked up during his time off. Now that he wont have to do that, his body will fill out more. Having only what, 2 inch difference in height against Floyd? 5'7" vs 5'9"?

Marquez shouldn't have issued a challange if he wasn't going to live up to it.

He doesnt have to fight FM. He can fight Valero at 135 since he called him out. But if he gets caught with 1 of those wild punches; it lights out. Maybe he should go to 140 and fight Campbell or Bradley. Campbell has already called him out. But it would make more sense to fight Floyd and get more money because I dont see him putting up much fight against any of them except Bradley.

Yeah you're right, but he was pretty cut-up. He showed some good abs, so atleast he didn't showed up fat at a higher weight like Trinidad looked when he fought hopkins. Manny looked good, but just looked to small when he faced De La Hoya and coming up and down on weight won't work for him.

If Mayweather wants Manny it must be at 140lbs, but then again forget all the trouble of making weights and fight fighters from your own division.
That way there wont be any excuses after the fight.

Valero has only fought once at 135. Marquez should just fight the winner of Hatton and Pacquiao. All settle and more of an evenly match-up.

JMM is mouth is getting him in trouble. He bitches about Manny avoiding him even though Manny fought him twice. He calls out Floyd Mayweather Jr. Who is retired and wants to make the weight demand of 140. JMM should Shut the F@ck up. JMM is a great fighter with a mouth that gets him in trouble. Floyd should not give this loser the big payday JMM thinks he deserves.

I thought he learned from the negotiations before the 2nd PAC when he priced himself out of it. He needs to realize he is not in position to demand sh**.

floyd is 5'8 i believe, i am a big mayweather fan but i dont want excuses from people for mayweather making marquez move up so much, mayweather is pissing me off cuz i defended him so much but now this is getting dumb, fight pac or marquez at 140 or stay at 147 and face da other welters

i agree 140 for manny or marquez but i think manny can handle 147 better against a small welter like floyd than marquez could, but u never know we havent seen marquez at 140+, trinidad shoulda never went up past 154 !!
