he jumped 5 to fight david diaz (130-135) and 12 more to fight oscar (135-147). there's half a year between those two fights of him. 5 + 12 = 17 pounds gained in half a year

So lets use your standards since you wrote fight night weight doesnt count. Manny only weighed 142 for the fight with DLH. Understand you cant have it both ways. So NO PAC didnt put on 17lbs in a 6 mo. spand. The best you can say about that is he put on 13 lbs in 9 mos.

If Mayweather wants to fight at 147, why doesn't he challenge Mosley, Cotto, Berto?
He's just looking to have an advantage over an already smaller fighter that has moves up in weight. Atleast Pacman still showed some speed at 147, Marguez would be to slow.
