yea basically, wins against opposition and when they faced them. And its hard to ignore 20 straight title defenses
I think youre a little bias against the smaller fighter thats all.
I guess Calazaghe breaks ATG too.Comment

135 Roberto Duran -v- Pac who wins?
Resume wise. Pac is on way to beat Duran''s resume.
Duran was an ATG at lightweight. He's one of the best there. But when he moved up in weight. He never came up on top as the best. He quit with SRL, He was Koed by Hearns, Benitez beat him, He can't beat Hagler, Bunch of Nobodys beat him. Davey moore win you can compare that to Pac-Diaz. Just Diaz has more wins.
History will be kind to Pac as History was kind to DLH & SRL. Because Pac's an Exciting fighter, he fights the best, he ducks no one, Gentleman in the ring, Clean fighter, a role model all positive stuff.
What separates Pac against these top ATGs is the matter of How he beat Great fighters. Annihilate MAB when MAB was still top 5 P4P. SRL struggles with Hagler, Duran & Hearns. Pac KOed twice the unknockable Morales. Duran, Hearns, SRL tried but never near of Koing the Granite Hagler.
You can Bring the JMM's close and debatable loss to Pac. But every ATG fighters struggle with a certain Rival during their eras. SRR with La motta, SRL with hearns, PBF with Castillo, Pep with Saddler etc. But don't worry the Pac-JMM series is not over. I belive Pac will end that series with a KO.
You're comparing those wins to Duran fighting Hagler, Leonard, Hearns etc?

How would Pac fare against a prime guy that stands at 6'1 with a 78" reach when he is only 5'7 with a 66" reach when he was already well past thirty while that guy was in his mid-twenties? Someone who is faster than himself and twice as powerful?
You're missing out on one big fact here. Diaz was shorter than Pac. He was a smaller fighter. Moore was twice the damn size of Duran and Diaz did not ever beat anyone as good as Wilfred Benitez or Ayub Kalule, unless you count a broken, shattered Morales moving up once again that good.
Oh dear......this is getting scary.Comment

Pac's The Greatest Asian fighter of all time. Are you serious? please tell me your not..
my top 5 include
SRR:- greatest fighter ever, 150+ wins 100+ KO's, probably most skilled fighter ever to step into the ring.
Ali:- Greatest heavyweight of all time, face of boxing for the last 40 years, skills and speed of a middleweight, power of a heavyweight, winner of probably thr greatest fight of all time.
Archie Moore: P4P biggest hitter of all time, 131 Ko's, 185 wins.
Joe Lewis: 25 consecutive defences of the world heavyweight title in a day when there was only one title and everyone was gunning for it. had KO wins in 18 of those 25 defences.
Marvin Hagler: greatest middleweight of all time, unified middleweight, beating 4 HoF'rs and another top 10 all time, only loss in teh main portion of his career was a controvercial SD to another top 10 all time SRL.
Pac is not even close to this level, not even remotely close.
Ali's only became a Champ at one weight Class. He didn't dominate everybody on his weight Class.
Hagler's only reign on one weight Class.
What makes Pac's achievement a Greater feat was because he comes from the lowest of weight Class and then he achieved much more at these higher weight Classes. One by one beating the so Called Greats of each weight Class. Not only that... As Larry Merchant said "It's the way he's beating these supposed to be Bigger Guys". And he makes it exciting & always going for the Kill. He mastered the art of offence!
I myself for years seek the video footage of these ATG just to get a Reference & comparison of what Pac has done. Pac has done Great compared to the other ATG coz he's winning by KO, coz he's Dominating bigger guys , coz he's making it exciting, he's Proving even the boxing experts wrong! If Pac just wins by Decisions & Some controversial SDs or some boring pitty pat fights like Floyd, I would not rate him this high(already top 10 P4P). If pac just career started only at Featherweight I would not rate him this high either.
But the Guy keeps amazing us. Anybody here did imagined 5 years ago that Pac could Beat MAB,EM, JMM & DLH??? Anybody here imagined Pac can Dominate from 126-147 when we knew he started at 107? Pac Koing MAB & EM was Amazing already. You add DLH there in the KO list was un-imaginable years ago or even months ago, But Pac did that IMPRESSIVELY! History will be kind to Pac, He'll be Top 10 for sure!!! Mark my words!!!Comment

That's true!! There's SRL,Hearns, hagler & duran in the 80s. These era has Pac, EM, JMm & Pac.

Oh dear......this is getting scary.
If you think of it Hearns was the Chinny one, Nobody in Today's Fav 4 was Chinny.
SRL keeps on retiring, I Thought he used those excuse to avoid some tough fights. Ohh Yeah he was Gifted a Draw with Hearns & He admit it.
Hagler.. One weight class only BUt he retires rather than Prove he can beat SRL.
Duran. Here's my favorite in the 80s. Great at Lightweight, Quiter at 147(with SRL), Not so Great above 135, become undiciplined late in his career. KOed Be Hearns.
These 4 Original Fav 4 was only rated higher than the modern Fav 4 coz they belong to higher weight Classes & they became a Mainstream fighters. But Pac was done with his Fav 4!!!(Maybe will give JMM another shot but not necessary anymore).
NOw he's going beyond with his another set of Fav 4. actually he's done with one by Koing DLH. Next is Hatton, that #2 & this will be an easy one. The next one Probably will be Cotto That #3. If PBF won't show up, then he will settle with Mosely that's #4. Then last will be Floyd... Ups!! Pac will make this Fav 5 then... Imagine Pac beating all these HOFamers??? It's not impossible. It could Happen. If Pac beats them all... I rate him no lower than Top 3. But honestly I'll rate him as the #1 P4P the Greatest if he achieve that schedule!!!Comment
