If you are talking about the weight issue I said that there is an advantage to both fighters fighting at 147 for this fight. Instead of dehydrating 9 pounds for the weigh-in for a 140 pound weigh-in, and then rehydrating 9 pounds for fight-time...at 147 you would only have to piss out 2 pounds and then drink 32 oz Gatorade to rehydrate. To only have to lose 2 pounds an then put 2 pounds back on is much healthier and can keep the fighters fresher than the other.

for the most part I see your points about Hatton and while I disagree with your stance about him being in an optimal situation Dec 8th 2007 I do totally disagree with this:


if you think Morales was healthy against Raheem you're nuts. The only thing it meant for Morales was that he didn't have to do roadwork in the hills like he usually does but he wasn't anywhere near his best because he didn't have to force himself to 130 it just meant he trained less and it showed.

Didn't Morales say he was struggling with the weight and he wanted to fight as a lightweight which was the reason why he took the fight with Zahir...

Zahir was a very skilled boxer but I don't consider Morales in his prime anyway. Zahir made Morales look every bit his boxing age from wear and tear.

Do you know for a fact he didn't train accordingly?
We are talking about Morales...

And did you see how ill he looked when he had to move back down to 130 for Pac?

If a fighter is thankful he doesn't have to kill himself to make weight, what's wrong with that?

He looked ILL when he moved back down.

There is working hard and then there is working too hard. The body can only take so much before you stress it out to the point of lethargy.


Maybe Pac just isn't working hard enough to continue to fight at 130-135.
