Manny's not willing to fight the best either at 147 but he did the same thing Floyd did...go to the higher weight division to chase one guy: O$CAR. That is who Floyd was really cha$ing.

Pac weighed in at 147 by fight time, according to Freddie, for his prior fight at 135.

I love divisions...all you have to do is make weight and get an IV to pump fluids back in you to fight as a Welter.

Floyd might be one of, or at least in the few, that fights at a legit weigh-in/fight-time weight. Pac is in Floyd's division...147.

No point in making these fighters dehydrate for the charade.

I dont' get what people don't see.

Mayweather's problem is that, while he is unequivocally the best fighter of the last 10 years, his entertainment value and crossover appeal is far behind his talent.

When Mayweather fought Hatton, no one was cheering for Mayweather, it was a Hatton crowd. They might have been fighting in Manchester.

Same with the Gatti fight, they did the fight in Atlantic City because it would have bombed anywhere else.

Mayweather's financial demands would likely be exorbitant, but his undefeated record is one that only he holds to the regard that he does.

If he demands anything greater than parity, I'd LOL.

Mayweather can make 140, fine by him. I just hope he doesn't feel weight drained like Oskie.Skills are what make fights, and I hope the weight affect on Mayweather doesn't prove to be another DLH-Pac fight.

Even if money is able to make 140, how will his body in the ring react to after being away for like 1/2 year? I would love this matchup but if it just turns out to be another one like DLH-Pac, then I would stick to rather see Hatton's turn against Pac better.

...if PBF is the best, he'll meet the demands and win the fight...if he's not, he'll loose...it's pretty simple...

*catchweight is a dogfighting term in which bigger dogs that have problems finding opponents at their true weight can still be matched. The heavy weight division is the perfect example of what "catchweight" is.

Manny looked fresh, strong, and quick at 147. No indication of Manny struggling at that weight. In fact, he made it comfortably.

                      Why the catch-weight?

                      What is Freddie afraid of?
