Pacquiao pulling a coward-like Sugar Ray Leonard move.

Trying to work out some kind of advantage before every big fight.

Too bad they don't realize that going to 140lbs. wouldn't bother Floyd.

I can also easily see Floyd agreeing for a 50/50 split.

You must know a different Floyd then coz I could never picture Floyd coming outta retirement for a 50/50 split.

        The fight would be huuuuuge.
...And beating Oscar in such a convincing fashion definitely gives Pacquiao leverage. He also has a very loyal following.

        But you may be right.
If Pacquiao first fights Hatton and beats him in a more convincing fashion than Floyd (which would be pretty hard). Floyd would have no other choice but to take 50/50 imo.

Did you forget Pacquiao already moved up 9-10 divisions?

More divisions today than there was in the past.

And in the future, the way fighters are going with these "catch-weights," we'll have about 50 more divisions added.

I can now see it: "The New, 145.567 pound Champion"

Everybody knows coming down in weight is alot more difficult than going up in weight.

That being said, I doubt it's going to matter any.

So What's the point? Pac started at 108 and knocking out someone at 147..
Pac had 1 catchweight fight and that was against Oscar.. Oscar's last fight was at 150 against Forbes and he made the stipulations and never complained about it.

and by the way Hatton was like 143-144 during the weighin against Floyd.
