Other than Sturm, who else?? Quartey?? He won that, that 12th round knockdown saved him, imo. Whitaker?? Whitaker blew it by tying to be too flashy.

he sort of beat fighters that were at the end of their careers, I really think he could have beaten Tito had he not been ******. All in All he brought a lot of money to the sport, always fought the best and his resume is still decent even with losses to those good fighters. I'd say yea, he's a big name in boxing, he's gotta be.

Yeah but Oscar didn't blow it by running against Tito.

          Sure.

He clearly did blow it, he lost the fight narrowly, so obviously he did.

The difference is most have De la Hoya winning both the Trinidad and Pea fights.

Just like when Calderon, Floyd and other run and yet still win in the eyes of many. Sure

DLH took Tito to school the first 9-10 rounds.

Its still a lose in his record, o well. But in the eyes of many people, Oscar won.

I'm not sure if I would say he took him to school bro. He definately won the fight though IMO.

You honestly think Tito really beat DLH?? Serious question
DLH's only loses have come to HOFs, he didn't lose to the Tarvers or Montel Griffins(DQ) like Jones, did he??

Name me a great prime fighter that didn't HAVE TO GO UP IN WEIGHT that Bernard Hopkins beat?? Works both ways bro.
Don't rely on TheRing belt so much. You'll be saying Vitali was the real hw champ after beating Sanders next lol

I don't know about the Pea fight which I certainly don't think he won.
