I picked Joe to win the fight by UD decision, he did.

I pick Jones by a semi-wide UD in a prime for prime match-up, he would.

I think the percentage split on the last poll on a prime matchup between them was about 83-17. I think that is a reasonably accurate representation of the relative chances of the two fighters.

      Try again.

A LOT of people said Floyd was ducking Hatton until he fought him. So how does that not make sense again?

      Idiot.
Hey idiot. I never said Mayweather dodged Hatton. In fact, if you go back and actually read what I wrote you'll find that I initially said Mayweather would win the fight. I changed my mind after the fight was made.

Maybe. Maybe not. But, I can argue that 17%. Calzaghe always surprises.

Reflexes and vision all add up when talking about Calzaghe's defense.

I set up this thread simply to give the Pros and Cons of an admittedly controversial proposition. It's interesting that the response of Calzaghe's detractors are, for the most part, enraged to the point of hatred. What's up with all that? Is it the mere fact that he's British??

How is that an absurdly angry post?

He just said that The Ring, a respected authority on boxing knowledge has him at #3... and that is only gaging him against fighters who are currently fighting.

So people like Roberto Duran, Henry Armstrong, Tommy Hearns, Pernell Whitaker, Ray Leonard, Ray Robinson, Harry Greb, Jou Loius and Muhammad Ali are not included in that criteria that has him back at #3.

I would think that point is valid to the point that it deserves more of a response than... HATER! YOU HATE THE BRITISH!

I was talking about the majority of responses from Calzaghe detractors in this thread. Just wondering why all the vitriol.
