Another sign of a incomlete writer, writing for shock value

@Motofan its obvious this clown wrote this article for a reaction because like Kelly Pavlik his writing skills are a basic 1 2. He's probably reading as we speak. These dude gave you know x's and o's but bull **** analogies. Like I said you can get sound boxing info on youtube and blogs rather then some clown who couldn't get a job @ ESPN so he gave boxing try types

Jones can definetely win, styles make fights.

As a style match up, it's a good one for Jones.

          The factors that appealed to Hulk were;

Pavlik is used to overpowering at smaller weight. He's moving up 2 weight classes.
He hasn't really been seen against a boxer. He favored fights like Pantera, (obviously Taylor) and wanted Duddy. This is not a man who has faced a tactician. I suspect Eastman would have beaten him or at least made him look very ineffective.
Whilst not 'chinny' he has been wobbled and knocked down by strong punchers.

All this plays into Hopkins' hands.
Hopkins has excelled at the higher weight. No bigger fighter has even wobbled him not least a smaller one.
Hopkins still has pop as seen with the early knockdown of Calzaghe. It was mostly the close nature of that fight which made me think that Hopkins was still too much for Pavlik.
The skill level and ring generalship disparity was huge.
No advantage that Pavlik has over Hopkins (energy level and activity rate I thought before the fight) was that large.

I was shocked at how aggressive Hopkins was. I also had no clue it would be that uneven so I'm not prescient.
I always thought Hopkins would win but by slipping, sliding and potshotting away in the usual unexciting but undeniably dominant way.
          I was happily surprised.
Hopefully we will see a better Pavlik as a result too.
all i'm saying is most thought he was going to lose. you didn't, cong****.

Calzaghe's victory over Hopkins was no where near as convincing as Roy beat Hopkins. Also Trinidad is arguably a greater fighter than Calzaghe.

            Trinidad definitely fought better competition.
I think Jones can win even with his diminshed speed and reflexes I still think he is faster then Super Joe and I don't think Super Joe hits hard enoguh to hurt Jones.

I can't wait for this fight ! To see all these calslappy fans faces when their boy loses ! I mean RJJ hits harder than Hopkins and is faster ! Plus I think he's bigger than Calslappy and will be come fight time ! I've noticed RJJ has a better defense ( He seems to be protecting himself better )! Granted he is an old RJJ not the same that was tearing through everyone ! So I think he finally has excepted that and adjusted his style ! Calslappy definately won't hurt him ! And after the splt decision with Hopkins I don't think the judges will favor the slapping again ! I believe RJJ will land the crispier shots and Calslappy will be hit harder than hes ever been hit ! My money is on RJJ by split decision or decision ! Maybe even an RJJ KO ! But that is slight Joe has a good chin but he will be knocked down once or twice ! RJJ is cautious on who he fights at this point in his career ! But he wanted this fight badly ! I suspect he sees something some of us don't see or no about Joe ! If good fight and RJJ wins it'll set up a payday rematch for both fighters !

I think Joe will win as well but think it is wrong of the writer to guarantee a Roy Jones loss. At the end of the day he has given his opinion and prediction, there is no way he can give us a guarantee. That's BS.

Superman Roy Jones in 10 by TKO. Joe defense is suspect and he is open to quick sharp strong counterpunches all night long.

Last time I checked, there is nothing fundamentally sound about ***azhe besides his typical Euro protection by Warren. His only advantage in this fight is foot speed. He is a lifetime SMW, not a LHW. His power won't be able to test the chin of RJJ. If he tastes RJJ power then he may slap and move all night! I smell/Hope an upset!
