    Such a foolish post. You seem to be forgetting that Calzaghe has one of the best chins in the business. What he lacks (mainly some power, due to smashed up hands) he more than makes up for in other areas of his game. If he's serious about retirment, and I think he is, then he has no need to protect his hands any longer. I think Roy is gonna eat some powerful shots. Calzaghe will fight like an animal for his farewell fight.

    As for "Calzaghe can't move"... are you blind or just writing ****** things for the sake of it? I suggest you take a look at round 3 of Calzaghe-Lacy.

      RJJ has a chance, but that chance is so remote that its not even a possibility.

        Its the hatton, gatti, pavlik theory, these fighters have inflated records based on the opposition, aka the tomato cans they were granted by their managers. Calzaghe has only beaten(clearly) one fighter with a name, and he also had an inflated record and thats Jeff Lacy. Who can't box either. All those fighters are decent C+ fighters, but once they get in the ring with a real fighter, its lights off.

You know, kind of like how Roberto Duran’s upset over Iran Barkley led to a third match between Hands of Stone and Sugar Ray Leonard - nine-years after the famous “No Mas” fight. Those pugilistic followers need to come back to reality because Jones hasn’t been an elite world class fighter since 2003 and has absolutely no chance of beating Joe Calzaghe.
              [details]

              by the way Boxingscene.com should no longer pay this writer. He is uneducated and has no idea wtf he is talking about...Boxing is the theatre of the unexpected..anything can happen. Andddd Hopkins beat Tarver in June 2006...not 2005 get your facts straight buddy

                    Are you willing to wager on that? I've got a little scratch left to throw in on it. PM me and we will talk.

                      Ok.
                      So you and all the other 'educated fans of the sport' who think RJJ is going to win this fight AND easy because Roy is great;

                      If Calzaghe wins this fight it makes him the best in the world right?

                      Roy isn't faded so if Calzaghe wins he is the best. In fact if Roy is so good then Joe is one of the greatest of all time if he knocks out RJJ?

                      No double standards. Answer the question!

                      Grararrararrrrrr!!!!!!
