Mad Dog
JC has more power than he is given credit for, but will be reluctant to throw as many shots as he'd like or throw them with the conviction he'd like, because he is going to be countered. Hopkins did this, but not with the power of Jones, and Hopkins wore down as the fight went on. Roy will still be hit more in this fight than he has in his entire career. Roy doesn't like getting hit at all! All that being said, I think there is a key in this fight that many are missing. Sure Roy is going to land his straight right hand and left hook, but the key is going to be the uppercut. JC leaves his head unprotected when he throws punches in bunches and leans forward at the same time with his head lowered. He has good footspeed, so he gets away with it against ordinary competition, but Roy has exceptional hand speed and accuracy and doesn't need to set his punches up the way conventional fighters do. Roy will end it with uppercuts and his unique hook-uppercut.
