Nonetheless, I agree that Roy Jones beats Calzaghe and I've already made my point clear earlier in this thread.

I just brought up some of the bad habits that Roy Jones had in the ring which were exploited by a lesser fighter in Montell Griffin.
People here seem to think Calzaghe (or just about everyone) has ZERO chance against 'prime' Roy Jones who in some peoples opinion was completely invincible, I disagree with that. Roy had his flaws, every fighter has flaws,
Roy was able to get away with those flaws because of his athleticism and his smarts but a great fighter could make him pay for it. When Roy got old, Johnson and Tarver made him pay.

you always bring up really great points and good posts... i dont disagree.. i do however think the weightloss did effect him.. .but i stlil agree with u on the bad habits... whats ur honest opinion on mayweathers flaws? im eager to see what you think...

Listen im not saying Roy had a glass jaw what i am saying is Calzghe has never been knocked out Cold by Single shots
well he knocked down evander holyfield? at that point you can justify your power i believe... and your estimate on calzaghe not being knocked out is of course true... im not saying its an excuse but dropping 20lbs in muscle i do personally believe is a valid reason.. roy had 0 stamina, he looked like he was sick... like i said nobody wants to hear excuses and i feel u on that... but, i think it definitely had something to do with his downfall as an elite fighter

Im not saying any different mate, its just i feel pointing out that Joe has been dropped by this guy that guy & claiming Roy has taken punches of Heavyweight is a bit of a contradiction ,when Roy has been KO'd twice prime or not & Joe has never been Stopped or beaten let alone KO'd

when you take into account a guy who weight 198... 2% body fat.... having to make 175 8 months later... and trying lose it in an 8 week trainnig camp... i mean the ONLY way to do that is dehydration.. running etc etc... and theres just no way a human body can take the same resistance that it did before that dehydration... and i think at 35... your body just doesnt react to a change like that... like i said no excuses, he got knocked out theres no denying it... but dont you find it SOME WHAT odd.. he DID take heavyweight right hands... but then gets knocked out cold from a guy that came from middleweight? i mean that does seem a little.. like wtf?? thats the only point im tryin to make..

He's also been KOed twice without even attempting to beat the 8 count by average punchers.

Roy wanted no part of Nigel Benn and a few other 168 guys around that time, that is the reason he moved out of a packed division to most probably the weakest.
