Sure Griffin didn't outbox Roy to a decision win or KO him but Roy got DQ'd and that was that. Griffin got the W in his record to prove it.

My original point was that anything can happen in Boxing, people who think Calzaghe could NEVER beat Roy are wrong, anything can happen, DQ, cut, whatever.
well obviously ill accept that.. i know montell got the W on his record.. u cant argue that.. i thought you were literally saying montell beat him.. like.. outboxed him... like he really won the fight..

He did win the fight and he was really annoying Jones before the flash knockdown. Calzaghe would of done that + more and got the W against Jones

I respect calzahge in all, but prime RJJ not many people(if anyboyd) could touch roy jones, when he got his first Ko he was getting ****y in the ring and pay'd for it with a loss, in his second he was beginning his downslide, He was the slickest fighter, nobody could touch him at 168, calzaghe is a good fighter, im not taking that away form him, but a prime RJJ was twice as slick, better hand speed, power, you name it RJJ had it betta.

and also... what if he never left 160? would bernard of had his 20 defenses?
Let's not leave it at Jones, because it's obvious a prime RJJ would toy with Calzaghe like he did everyone else he fought. A focused dedicated Toney would have beaten Calzaghe as would a prime Hopkins had he moved up from 168. Calzaghe being the best at 168 is the equivalent of being the tallest midget. There have not been many great fighters who stayed very long at 168...

hell a prime Taylor would stick that jab is his face, and the combos to the head and body would of broken calzaghe
