Roy Jones wasn't invincible by any means, good fighters took advantage of his showboating and his habit of laying on the ropes.

Roy Jones vs Montell Griffin I&II. Griffin took advantage of Roy's bad habits in their first fight but Jones was all business in the rematch.

Roy Jones vs Hopkins. A young Hopkins pressures young Jones and scores with repeated right hands while Jones lays on the ropes. Jones did win the fight though, Hopkins had trouble with Roy's speed like everyone did.

I Had Griffin infront in that fight untill Roy scored a couple of knockdowns ,as much as people dont like to admit it Roy was'nt as Super Bad as people like to think he was outboxed by Griffin for large spells in that fight ,Griffin was'nt quick but he had good timing & was decent counter puncher he negated Roy's speed that for sure

Calzaghe is the one of the most akward fighters Roy could have fought along with Griffin IMO

Sorry but prime for prime this is no contest, people have got short memories and forget how many clean right hands. Calzaghe took off only goodish fighters like Woodhall, Reid, even the British commentators said during Woodhall fight that he would not be able to get hit with that many right hands against someone like Jones. And i really don't think Calzaghe's Southpaw stance would trouble Jones either, Jones has fought many southpaws and wiped them all out with ease, one of Jones best punches the straight right hand lead is one of Calzaghe's biggest weakness. He was caught over and over with that punch against Reid, and if Jones would of hit Calzaghe with even half the straight right hands Reid did, Calzaghe would of been KO no doubt in my mind, plus prime Jones is so much quicker than Calzaghe, i know people may disagree but prime for prime i don't see Calzaghe lasting the distance against Jones especially at 168.

So was Sean Connery... but he ended up with about a million bullet holes in his chest.

Jones laid on the ropes at his own choice it wasn't his opponent forcing him to the ropes it was Jones's choice, and actually why don't you have a look and see how many times Jones opponent's actually land when Jones is on the ropes. And i think your find the only real meaningful punches they land are 1 or 2 body shots they never land a clean shot on Jones's chin. Jones had even less experience than Hopkins did and plus he broke his right hand during the fight, and the only time Hopkins had success was when Jones injured his hand, other than that it was a piece of cake for Jones, and as for 1st Griffin fight that wasn't Jones at his best, he was far too cautious in that fight. But he still was on the verge of KO Griffin and he still floored Griffin in the 7th round as well. But when Jones fought with passion he totally destroyed Griffin so i think its little pointless bringing up 1st Griffin fight, because Jones proved he just had an off night.
