            You have to ask why he spent his prime years avoiding the best super middleweights by fighting bums at LHW for 8 years.

            Dont get me wrong, i like Roy, but lets not pretend he proved his doubters wrong. Plus the steroid scandal wasn`t great for his legacy.

              point taken. roy could have made that fight happen, however, who was joe calzaghe back then? a nobody.

                  I THINK HE gives joe more of a run for his money than hopkins does... i wont say he ll beat him... but it would be more competitive in my opinion

                      I guess Bowe didn't win those two fights with Golota. A win is a win, Roy made a mistake, got DQ'd and avenged the loss in the rematch.

                      Sure Griffin didn't outbox Roy to a decision win or KO him but Roy got DQ'd and that was that. Griffin got the W in his record to prove it.

                      My original point was that anything can happen in Boxing, people who think Calzaghe could NEVER beat Roy are wrong, anything can happen, DQ, cut, whatever.
