So 30,000 people are not actually coming then? I dont see how 30,000 people can afford the ridiculous price for this fight...Yes a lot of people use to come over to support lennox lewis and Naz but the price of this fight lookks ridiculous that i refuse to believe that 30000 casual fans actually request for tickets.

BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT, THE THREAD IS ABOUT FLOYD/HATTON....
Believe me De la Hoya would not have a lot of fans make a trip to England to see him fight. That **** just ain't gonna happen.
You know what we might just find out because even though Hatton is going to lose to PBF. If Hatton puts up a good fight De la Hoya will still want to fight Hatton because of the money he could make in England. So with a good showing that fight can still happen.

          remember thiss...

alright- fans are coming to see floyd_ but oly because they want to see floyd lose. its probably not going to happen_ but alot of people go to his fights just hoping to see floyd lose_ not to support him.
i hate floyd_ but i think he can outbox and even stop ricky because i think he's the bigger man, he's very accurate and ricky swells and cuts way too easily.
i hate floyd. i think he's boring and he's a piece of ****. ricky seems like a gret guy_ but that doesnt win fights, his style isnt too exciting either with the holding.
if ricky's stregnth is just as good as it is at 140 this time around at 147> he will win_ because floyd will want to move around_ and of course ricky will keep hugging and hitting, if he hugs and holds floyd wont be able to run anywhere

Just because 30,000 requested tickets doesn't mean if they had 30,000 tickets to sell 30,000 were coming. Truth be told some of that 30,000 was probably people wanting to sell tickets at higher prices and **** like that. But the majority of that 30,000 probably really wanted to come and see the fight. **** I know I paid a lot of money to go to Vegas to see the PBF - De la Hoya fight and I had a ball. Wish I could have made it back for the Hatton fight but watching it on PPV will be just fine.

I'm telling you that fight is going to happen. All Hatton has to do is have good showing or go out on his shield. By doing that all the hometown people are still going to love him. So that means he will still sell out whatever arena they put the De la Hoya - Hatton fight in. De la Hoya loves money the fight will happen regardless of Hatton losing to PBF.

From what i've read, the remainder of Brits that dont have tickets, have sold out all the neighboring hotels that are showing the fight on closed circuit television.

Closed cicuit TV places may have sold out of rooms but they have not sold out of tickets to watch the fight on Close Circuit TV.

Am a brit and i can tell you 30000 people arent coming for this fight, They do have a CCTV for the army of people who couldnt get tickets but am pretty sure the numbers arent what they said it is.

Hatton fills the Men arena here in the UK but 20000 people turn up...Have check the prices for this fight and the ticket..flight..and hotel are pretty outrageous.
