and u choose to go off topic because it hurts u when floyd is mentioned second or beneath someone. so u start bringing up ppv # which has nothing to do with topicYou've yet to produce numbers from Ricky Hatton and instead emphasize live gate in England
what u do think hatton can sell out in arena with oscar in vegas (drawing fans to the fight)this is the what the topic is about not ppvellerbe: fans coming for floyd, not ricky
6 million stayed tuned(i pretty sure u mean total viewer combined for each episode) after sopranos yeah i know mayweather has headlined on hbo cards for years. i wonder why he just started doing ppv? oh yeah because he cant draw a gate not even in vegas (with out a good dance partner oscar judah gatti and baldimor the walk out bout) thats why it took him so long to get on ppvAlso, more than 6 million viewers tuned in to De La Hoya/Mayweather 24/7 alone. Mayweather has headlined HBO cards for years which consistently draws on millions. You've yet to produce numbers from Ricky Hatton
i doubt it has as many viewers available than terrestrial tv even in small country like britianwhich is a company bigger than any sports station in England, with a bigger base
do the math amir khan can get 6 million viewers terrestrial tv on saturday
Dude, first off, what the hell does Amir Khan have to do with Ricky Hatton?
what do u think hatton does

Got bored when i got to page 10 of this thread.
People are saying that Hatton hasn't been on ppv over in America ?
Ive never seen Floyd on ppv over here in the UK.
All his fights has been free, Including the Oscar fight.
If he was that big of a draw then surely we would have had to pay for it ?Comment

The bold is ****** because you could say the same **** for a Hatton-De la Hoya fight in England. Yes those people are fans of Hatton but a lot of that **** has to do with National Loyalty. In America we don't love or like our sports stars because of National Loyalty so that comment makes no sense or serves no purpose to prove anything.Heres an excerpt from my next article which talks about this:
"Hatton's appeal is unique, something that American audiences cannot relate to. Put it this way, if the fight was in England, how many fans would make the trans-Atlantic journey to see Mayweather-Hatton? Here's a hint, not 30,000. Hatton is a prized export, like Manny Pacquiao is to the Philippines, like Naseem Hamed was to England, like Julio Cesar Chavez was to Mexico. To America, Floyd Mayweather is just a prizefighter. To England, Ricky Hatton is much more."Comment

I have a feeling that a LOT of Dela Hoya fans would make the trip, he has a LOT more fan base then Floyd..The bold is ****** because you could say the same **** for a Hatton-De la Hoya fight in England. Yes those people are fans of Hatton but a lot of that **** has to do with National Loyalty. In America we don't love or like our sports stars because of National Loyalty so that comment makes no sense or serves no purpose to prove anything.
BUT THATS BESIDES THE POINT, THE THREAD IS ABOUT FLOYD/HATTON....
