Who's A More Complete Fighter Pernell or Floyd?

In your opinion who do you believe is a more complete boxer, Floyd Mayweather Jr or Pernell "Sweet Pea" Whitaker? I'm not asking who fought the better competition or who has the better resume. Just who brings it all together the best as a whole.

Floyd puts it together well. He really only does what he has to do to win. One might say sweat pea cause of some of the battles he took part in,
But Floyd doesn't really have to battle. Just does enough. That says somthin.

exactly floyd does enough to get the W people picking pernell because he would trade...but that dosent mean pernell is a more complete fighter..

Its quite close. Im a massive Whitaker fan, and loved the way he could not get hit and stand right in front of his opponents. Floyd uses his feet and stays at range. Although Floyds reflexes and movement are beautiful to watch.

Floyd has the edge with offense. But dont by that much. Whitaker could do more defensively.

id put it the other way around and say pernell has better offense and floyd has better defense .. did you see how many CLEAN shots pernell took against mcgirt?? i never seen floyd eat half those amount of punches

I think people are confusing completeness with skill and ability.

Floyd is more of a jack of all trades that Whitaker was, therefore Floyd is the more complete fighter.

Floyd is NOT as skilled as Whitaker.

so he is lacking the skill of pernell but yet he is more complete?? hmm that dosent sound right
