Whitaker took chances all the time. Floyd didnt.

Its difficult to say who was more 'complete'.

Whitaker could of done what Floyd does in terms of moving, and pot-shotting at range. But he liked to be flash, and took chances, sometimes paying for it.

            Whitaker is the greater boxer

however, i believe Floyd is "the more complete boxer" of the two

Floyd was the more complete, 'perfectly' rounded boxer. Though...his mentality shouldn't be overlooked as a factor in that.

As someone else pointed out, Pea was a fighter who liked to let **** get ragged or dangerous, seemingly to entertain himself as much as anyone else. Highly gifted and evolved skill-wise, but with a more maverick, renegade outlook to using the abilities at his disposal.

LOOK AT THE KO PERCENTAGES PEOPLE!

Pernell only has 17 KOs. He's probably the only fighter in the HOF under 20 kos lifetime.

                Mayweather is more complete.
Mayweather will be ranked higher on the ATG list.
                End of thread.
